Children write an essay based on the painting “The Fascist Flew” by Plastov in the 7th grade. The canvas by the Soviet artist was created in 1942 at the height of the Great Patriotic War. Against the backdrop of quiet nature, it depicts the horrors of wartime, forcing us, decades later, to remember the price our grandparents paid to defeat the enemy.

Artist's creativity

Arkady Aleksandrovich Plastov is a Russian painter whose period of creativity falls during the times of the USSR. As a child, he and his father painted icons. The parents saw their son as a future priest, but when he graduated from theological school, he found his calling in a different direction - in painting. In addition to the canvas “The Fascist Flew,” the artist created other paintings:

  • "Haymaking";
  • "Harvest";
  • "Happiness";
  • "Winter Holiday".

After returning from study, Plastov mainly painted the rural life of his fellow villagers. But the war changed his views. Peaceful village life gave way to a tragedy that destroyed the destinies of people. The painting “The Fascist Flew Over” had a huge influence not only on Soviet painting, but also on history.

During the negotiations between Churchill and Roosevelt, the canvas hung before their eyes. As a result, they decided to open a second front. Probably the atmosphere of the canvas influenced their decision.

The meaning of the painting

The picture had an influence not only on politicians, but also on ordinary people who saw it . This painting evoked tears and hatred of the enemy, a desire for revenge. It called for fighting the enemy.

People understood that it was not in vain that their grandfathers and great-grandfathers defended their homeland, but most of all they were worried about the life of the common people, since they were starving and worked tirelessly to survive.

Young children were deprived of their childhood; they had to join the workforce on a par with adults.

Fascism is a terrible word. This is a crime of one race, which considers itself superior, against humanity. In the USSR, such a word appeared during the Great Patriotic War, it was used to describe the Germans who attacked Soviet lands, which is why Plastov called his painting “The Fascist Flew.”

Description of the canvas

The main theme of the canvas is war. Plastov survived this period together with his fellow villagers. In his work he depicted the senseless death of a little shepherd boy. This horror took place against the backdrop of nature.

Autumn is a gloomy and dull time , which emphasizes the sadness of this event . The autumn slope with bare birches is full of yellow and brown flowers.

There are almost no leaves left on the trees, only the oak can boast of a few dark leaves that are saturated with moisture and will soon fall off. The meadow is covered with yellow grass, fields covered with a green carpet of winter crops go into the distance.

All the beauty of autumn colors is interrupted by the barking of a dog trying to wake up its owner. The sheep are scattered across the field, and the fair-haired shepherd boy lies clinging to the ground.

At first it seems that he just decided to rest or is hiding among the ears of corn. But if you look closely, you can see his twisted arms, whip and hat falling far away from him. It becomes clear that he lies dead. The scarlet blood in his hair proves it.

A plane is hiding far above the fields - it flew over this clearing, over the boy and the animals, mercilessly shooting them. Most likely, the German ended up here by accident. Seeing the shepherd, he simply pulled the trigger, flying away into the blue sky.

The viewer does not understand why the child’s death is needed in this picture, asking questions:

  1. Why is the German so ruthless?
  2. What is this child guilty of?
  3. Will his family and friends be able to find him?

The animals also came under fire, only some managed to escape, and the corpses of cows and a calf fell among the birches. The sheep have scattered across the field and are slowly beginning to return to the grazing area. A faithful dog does not give up and does not leave his dead friend.

The artist managed to clearly show, in contrast with nature, all the tragedy of that time. The death of a child is a loss of hope, since children are our continuation.

To emphasize the tragedy, Plastov depicted the death of the boy surrounded by picturesque nature .

The painting by the Soviet artist makes you think about many things; not everyone can forget it. It reminds us of the most tragic period in the fate of our people, which must always be remembered.

Essay on our topic: Plastov’s painting “The Fascist Flew Over”

Author: Veronica, 7th grade

The subject of war is one of the most difficult for any artist who has experienced it himself. Many works by A.A. Plastov are dedicated specifically to the struggle of the Soviet people against the German invaders. The artist manages to immerse with his creativity the very thick of events, although, it would seem, there are no soldiers or guns in the picture. We see only a little boy who has fallen to the ground, blood is oozing from a wound on his head, but there is no one to help him. He alone went to graze animals in a field, where he accidentally became a victim of indiscriminate shooting from an airplane. The plane itself had already flown away, as if it had never existed, but only destruction was left behind it. The artist depicted nature in green and yellow. Yellow - everything that is left behind the plane, green - the area where it is flying. This symbolizes the destruction that he brings with him.

The plane dramatically changed the fate of this boy, and many other people. After all, during the war there are many civilian casualties. Every death is a tragedy for loved ones and a loss for the entire people.

Now, over the body of the little shepherd, only his dog mourns, which raised its head to the sky, howling protractedly. She doesn’t understand what happened, why her friend no longer moves, but lies motionless on the ground. Sheep and cows, which recently grazed the grass, are now wandering around the clearing in confusion. What is happening creates a depressing atmosphere that is conveyed through the image. The author managed to convey the pain and injustice that he himself observed during the war years.

Essay based on Plastov’s painting “The Fascist Flew Over”

The pictorial creativity of A. A. Plastov is connected with the people and their fate. This wonderful artist created his beautiful paintings at the turn of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Therefore, all those events that took place at that time, all those experiences that worried the people at the turn of the eras and were reflected in his pictorial creativity.

The enormous tragedy of the Russian people had a huge influence on the paintings of Alexander Arkadyevich. Plastov saw how difficult it was for the Russian land and people to survive during the Great Patriotic War, so he could not help but write about it.

Many of his paintings are dedicated to this very topic, because the entire Russian people stood up to defend their land. Even children tried to help both the front and the adults, on whose shoulders a difficult and heavy burden fell. Sometimes, you had to give your life to get even a little closer to victory.

The artist himself experienced this time, which is why so many paintings are devoted to this topic: “Harvest”, “Haymaking”, and “The Fascist Flew Over”.

If you take a superficial look at the picture, without even thinking about what the artist wanted to say, then the landscape immediately catches your eye. It is beautiful, although it depicts nature’s autumn withering.

But how nice it is to look at a young birch grove that attracts attention with its small and delicate gold-colored leaves. The grove is small, so all the trees in it are clearly visible.

There are fields all around, which in some places still retain the former lush green grass, but in some places they are already flashing with their empty black spots.

But the sky runs through the entire picture; it is depicted by the artist as clear and bright. Plastov chose pleasant, delicate blue colors for it. But there is also something terrible in it. This is a small dark spot that is slowly disappearing.

If you look closely, you can understand that it was a Nazi plane that flew over that beautiful and such a peaceful picture of Russian nature.

And then the gaze is immediately transferred to the foreground, which makes you shudder with pity and suffering.

The tender and good mood that was originally from the picture disappears. Now, with tears in your eyes, you can look at how the small body of a child lies on the yellow autumn grass.

It seems that the boy was simply hiding so as not to be noticed. But everything is much worse.

A huge scarlet spot can be seen on the boy’s head, and his small and thin body lies somehow not at all naturally. The child is dead!

The artist showed a terrible picture of a child's death. And it is impossible to understand why the German pilot was so bothered by this child, who did not even have time to live in this world.

The inhumanity and soullessness of the fascists is amazing, because it is so easy to end a life, and even a child’s life, only a person without a heart could. Does he really not have children himself? After all, this boy has never done harm to anyone.

Most likely, he dreamed and fantasized, as all children on earth do. Maybe he even made plans for the future when he grew up and became big. But his life, childish and pure, was interrupted very early. And, unfortunately, this was not the only death at that time.

Many people, adults, women and children died in that terrible and cruel time. And this can no longer be changed, just as it is impossible to return this boy’s life.

Description essay based on the painting by A.A. Plastov “The fascist flew by”

Author: Andrey, 7th grade

Soviet artist A.A. Plastov lived during the Great Patriotic War, so the tragedy that befell the people did not leave him indifferent. Many of his paintings are devoted to military themes.

The canvas “The Fascist Flew Over” depicts a day in deep autumn. All the grass and leaves are scorched. This bright yellow color signals the trouble that the plane, depicted in the sky already far beyond the clouds, is bringing with it. It flew by only a moment, but has already claimed the life of a boy who lies bent over in the grass. There is a bloody wound on his head. The machine gun fire from the plane did not spare him: the bullet hit him directly in the head, although he tried to hide by bending down to the ground. A dog sits next to the boy. She raised her head to him and burst into a pitiful howl. Although her efforts are in vain, because there is not a soul around them. Obviously, the boy was a shepherd, because a little distance away, cows and sheep huddled together in confusion. They, too, were frightened by the sharp shots, and now, having lost their shepherd, they do not understand at all how to behave. Everything fell into chaos after the plane flew over. He left behind only pain and destruction.

The impression I get from the picture is disturbing and even somewhat disgusting. The pain of realizing that such a boy, my age, died in vain does not leave me. And a lot of such children died during the war years. I think it's important that paintings like this exist. They do not embellish the horrors of war, they show everything very truthfully and cruelly.

Essay based on Plastov's painting The Fascist Flew

A very interesting work, which at first glance seems like an ordinary landscape, but the name itself, “The Fascist Flew,” speaks for itself, since it immediately becomes clear what happened.

There is a war with Germany and the entire Soviet people are suffering very much, since innocent people are constantly dying, and this is always very scary.

The master very well conveys the moment when the plane flies over; in the picture it is not distorted, since the moment when all this happened is shown.

A simple village boy is grazing his cattle, but then, quite unexpectedly, an enemy plane appears and everyone is very scared, as they are pressed to the ground, and this is very clearly visible in this picture.

It’s late autumn, there’s a lot of yellow foliage all around, which tames all of nature, but all this beauty borders on a very great and irreconcilable pain that everyone feels, even pets who are very scared.

The artist perfectly manages to convey all the colors of this time of year, which is visible at first glance, and this indicates that he feels very well all the beauty of his native nature.

However, this whole picture evokes certain thoughts and a very great burden that the viewer experiences, since all objects are shown in dark yellow tones, and we do not even begin to feel sad.

We can understand how our main character values his own life, which is very dear to him, but the most important thing is that he appreciates every moment that is given to him from above, and this is the most important thing.

Every person and every living creature has their own right to life, and no one has the right to take it away, since all this is illegal, but this work shows the opposite, since war does not sort out who is to blame and who is not, and this very scary and upsetting.

The artist very well conveyed the wartime that takes place in the simple Russian outback, and we understand that the full horror of the war has reached these distant and previously quiet places.

All the little things that are depicted on this canvas are conveyed very well, since we can see all the animals that are made quite realistically and from this everything becomes clear to us, since we can see all the horror that has taken possession of everything, even simple foliage, which seems to be hiding from this war horror that makes her tremble.

Option No. 2

Arkady Aleksandrovich Plastov, a famous Soviet artist, spent his entire life in the fine arts, and created a huge number of excellent paintings. The main theme of his works was nature and rural life.

Since Arkady Plastov was born in the village and lived there most of his life. But among all his works, there are special ones that touch the most subtle strings of our soul. And as an example, we can cite a painting called “The Fascist Flew Over,” written in 1900.

It is this picture that is worth paying our attention to, since it is very difficult to pass by.

At first glance at the picture, it is difficult to notice anything special. We see a fine autumn day, which can often be seen in the paintings of other artists. “Golden” birch trees bend in the wind, winter crops turn green in the fields, cattle graze. Everything breathes with peace and tranquility.

But suddenly, we notice a motionless body - it’s a boy, at first glance you might think that he just lay down to rest. But, looking closer, we notice blood, but what could have happened on this calm autumn day? And only now, we notice a barely noticeable plane flying away, and several animal corpses. Everything becomes clear, a terrible tragedy has occurred.

Flying over a peaceful, harmless village, the German pilot noticed a herd and a small shepherd. The conscience and soul of the German did not waver when he opened fire on a peaceful herd and, most importantly, a child who would never harm them. Only a real fascist, capable of killing civilian, unarmed people, could do such an act.

The artist depicted a plane in the distance, as if emphasizing the fact of a crime that had already been committed, making it clear that there was no return to this grief.

The work of Arkady Plastov literally touches the soul, because how much grief this war brought, and everyone, indiscriminately, fell under its millstones: adults, old people and children. The artist reflected only one of a thousand cases of unjust cruelty. And the war has claimed so many innocent lives throughout the country. It's scary to even think about it.

Description of the painting “The fascist flew by” by A. Plastov

What is fascism? Today this word is used to describe everyone who is not lazy: those who are luckier than us, those who commit crimes, those who promote immoral life, crazy nationalist ideas and much more.

The theme of fascism in painting, fiction, and cinema has and will have its supporters and opponents. This chauvinist ideology is not just one race's crimes against humanity. This is a way of life that we cannot eradicate.

You can, of course, not get involved in the discussion and simply say that the concept of “fascism” is the idea exclusively of Benito Mussolini, and that calling all other acts (or atrocities) with such a word is simply inappropriate.

In the Russian consciousness, the word “fascist” has been firmly entrenched since the Great Patriotic War. The point here is not even the usual “liberation from the Nazi invaders,” which has long become a kind of cliché. The point here is what adherents of the regimes of Hitler, Mussolini and Franco did. The fact is that you will see in A. Plastov’s painting “The Fascist Flew Over.”

This is such a powerful and at the same time creepy work that at one time Stalin took it to the Tehran conference. According to eyewitnesses, Roosevelt and Churchill simply could not speak for several minutes.

At that moment, a second front was opened, which largely predetermined the course of not only the Great Patriotic War, but also the Second World War.

True, before delivering the painting, the leader showed miracles of political correctness and changed the original title “The German Flew Over” to the one we know.

The first impression of the painting for many is that fathers and grandfathers did not shed their blood in vain. They defended hundreds of burned villages, they avenged the death of Khatyn and the millions who died in concentration camps. However, the worst thing is not the scale of the crimes of the Nazis, but what happened in everyday life during the war years.

At that time, people experienced not only poverty, hunger and tears, but also work at the fronts, in the partisan movement and in the rear. At that time, many boys and girls simply did not have a childhood. They, like adults, made shells for rockets, went to the front, and in their free time helped with housework. One of these incredibly scary moments is captured on the canvas “The Fascist Flew Over.”

The stunning landscape of the autumn slope reveals to us the golden decoration of thin birch trees. Everything is filled with a play of yellow shades and unique light. And then the viewer clearly hears how terribly the dog howls. Looking closely, we see scattered sheep and a shepherd boy who has fallen to the ground.

At first it seems that he simply tried to hide in the grass from a flying fighter, but... Such an awkward fall, such an implausibly twisted arm, a whip and hat lying strangely far away, and scarlet blood stains on the child’s brown hair. Many viewers are in a stupor, because, indeed, it is difficult to understand why the death of a child is necessary. There is not even the strength to cry here, but there is endless bitterness and a hundred questions.

How ruthless or blind do you have to be to not notice a child? What did he do wrong? Peacefully herding sheep? What will happen to his mother? Will they find him at all? And why would infanticide go unpunished? How many of them were there, shepherd boys?

A fascist fighter is hidden behind the emerald green hills. Its pilot, without hesitation, released a shower of lead, and then disappeared into the clear and amazingly clear sky. The plane in this area is a stranger, it ended up here completely by accident, and it killed the boy only because he saw it.

The animals that the boy was herding tried to escape from the shots, but they also failed to escape. Lead rain hit cows and a calf, which fell among the birches. The rest, the sheep, slowly begin to return to the pasture and look for their owner. One dog stayed nearby and informed everyone about the tragedy.

The crime would not have been so monstrous if Plastov had depicted the front-line situation or the battlefield. There are contrasts here: peaceful autumn nature. It is she who, with her beauty and fading, sets off the whole tragedy of the boy’s death.

The slope of the hillside is painted not as a natural motif, but as a magic carpet, exquisite, warm and golden. It is echoed by the precious decoration of thin birch trees, the velvet of green winter crops and the crimson-scarlet leaves of bushes, the same as the blood stains on the shepherdess’s temples.

Plastov’s nature may sound, but now it is not a song, but a kind of requiem for childhood dreams and hopes.

The muted colors of the picture - light brown and yellowish shades, the light of the passing day perfectly personify all the tragedy of the plot, all the pain of that time and all the horror of fascism.

The painting “The Fascist Flew Over” does not call for thought; it affects emotions in the same way as Picasso’s “Guernica.”

The only difference is that the surrealist influences associative thinking, and Plastov influences the unconditioned reflexes of hatred towards murderers.

Parallels involuntarily arise that went unnoticed at first glance. Thus, crimson foliage begins to be perceived as blood stains, bare branches of a bush as gun bayonets, and the trembling of birch leaves as crying or fear.

All nature was plunged into sorrow, because children are the hope of all humanity. And with the death of the shepherdess, it turns out that there is no hope left at all.

The universal pain of nature is closely connected with the pain of a person who has looked at the painting “The Fascist Flew” at least once.

It’s simply impossible to forget such a picture. It simultaneously pushes you to take action against your enemies and makes you think.

There is little pain for the little boy written by Plastov - there are today’s children in the far from peaceful Donbass, who are not in a different geographical latitude, but very close.

There is no longer the silence characteristic of Plastov’s work. There is crying and further crimes against humanity.

And the audience, looking again at “The Fascist Flew”, brings it into their memories, thinking not about the heroic deeds of the soldiers who defended their Motherland and their home, but about the cost of the victory, about the tragic path it took and about how much children became victims of war.

Essay-description of the painting The fascist flew by

In the art of the 20th century there are a large number of works dedicated to war. Looking at them, the viewer experiences various emotions and experiences. Famous artist of that century Arkady Alexandrovich Plastov. This is a very talented artist, most of his works are painted in the landscape genre. He loved and praised the nature of his native land. He especially liked to depict simple peasants, children and nature. Very often Plastov touched upon the problem of the Great Patriotic War. In his works he depicted the war itself and the difficult post-war years. But there is one work that touched me to the core. This is the work of the famous Russian artist Arkady Aleksandrovich Plastov, “The Fascist Flew.”

When you look at the paintings for the first time, you see a warm, bright autumn. Cattle are grazing on a hill and a man is lying. But if you look closer, you can see that the young man is dead. On the thick, tall, golden grass, a boy lies in an unnatural position, who was killed by a passing fascist.

The mood of the picture immediately changes, it no longer seems so bright and pleasant, sad emotions and horror come. What did this boy do? After all, he was just herding cattle. A fascist who was flying there by chance, seeing the boy, fired heavy lead bullets. They wounded the young man. You can see how red blood appeared on his head. The eyes fill with tears from what they see. These bullets also hit cattle grazing nearby. The cow and calf also died. The rest of the animals are scared, they are confused and are looking for their owner. But only the faithful dog, sitting by the boy’s body, howls high into the sky. And a fascist plane is visible on the horizon.

For some reason, after seeing a boy killed by a fascist, the picture ceases to seem bright and warm. Although at first glance, beautiful bright yellow birch trees filled the canvas with light. But when, having examined the picture in detail, you find the poor boy, then everything inside breaks off and the picture becomes gloomy gray. There are no words that could convey all my anger and anger about what I did. Unfortunately, the boy is no longer alive. His poor parents. After all, they sent the young man just to graze cattle, and what will be their grief when he does not return.

Plastov managed to convey the wartime mood 100%. After all, looking at the picture, the heart is filled with a storm of emotion from anger to compassion. The only good thing is that this terrible war is over and no one else will die because of the bullets of the Nazis.

Essay based on the painting by A. A. Plastov “The fascist flew by” - Essay

Essay based on the painting by A. A. Plastov “The fascist flew by”

The work of the outstanding Russian painter of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, Alexander Arkadyevich Plastov, is inextricably linked with the people, with their destiny. All the experiences that our people had to experience were reflected in the works of the outstanding painter.

The Great Patriotic War struck our homeland as a huge disaster. A serious time had come when children worked in the rear along with adults, fought on the fronts, defending their Motherland at the cost of their lives.

The difficult time for our people was reflected in the artist’s canvases “Haymaking”, “Harvest”, “The Fascist Flew Over”.

The painting “The Fascist Flew” was painted by the artist in 1942 - at a time when our people were suffering huge losses, and the Nazis were moving deeper and deeper into the country, crushing everything in their path. The pain of loss that civilians experienced was reflected in the canvas of A. A. Plastov.

When you first look at the picture, your attention is drawn to the beautiful autumn landscape: a small grove of young birches with golden leaves, green-black fields, a light blue sky. A fascist plane receding in the sky is barely visible. And immediately the gaze stops at the foreground. The impression of the picture instantly changes. Everything becomes permeated with pain and suffering.

There is a boy lying right in front of us. At first it seems that he fell to the ground on purpose so that the fascist would not notice him. But a huge scarlet spot on the boy’s head makes him notice that he is lying in an unnatural position, and the pain of loss permeates his consciousness. The heart aches from the bitterness of loss.

Why is this death necessary? Who could interfere with a boy peacefully grazing cows and sheep in a meadow?! Only to inhuman, soulless fascists, one of whom interrupted a fragile child’s life. Just a minute ago, the boy was peacefully herding animals, dreaming about how his father would return from the war, his mother would stop working all day long, and the family would return to its former happiness. Now nothing can be returned or changed.

And so it was throughout our long-suffering Motherland: innocent people were dying everywhere.

Next to the boy sits his faithful friend - a dog who has realized the bitter loss and howls pitifully, mourning its owner. A little further on you can see a flock of a young shepherd. Some of the animals also froze motionless, lying on the ground without moving. Frightened by the shooting, the surviving cows and sheep gradually emerge from the autumn grove. What a pity that the boy did not have time to hide among the trees and escape!

The beautiful autumn landscape becomes permeated with tragedy. On the yellow-green autumn carpet, like droplets of spilled blood, red and brown shades of small flowers and leaves can be seen. The small leaves of the bush near which the boy lies are turning red, and black bare branches stick out like the bayonets of weapons.

Golden birch leaves tremble under gusts of wind. They seem to be mourning an irreparable loss, bending towards the ground. Next to them is a bright red rowan tree, like blood, red against the background of birches. A haystack is visible in the distance. The winter crops are turning green in the fields, the arable land is turning black.

There is a general pain that covers everything around.

“The Fascist Flew” by A. A. Plastov is a picture-memory that must be carefully preserved, carried through generations, to appreciate the heroic feat of our people, who were able to defend the freedom of our Motherland at the cost of their own lives.

And Plastov returns to his native village and devotes himself to creativity. Here, in Prislonikhe, he spent his entire creative career.

Arkady Alexandrovich loved children very much and often said: “I love children - how can I not describe their charm? Writing children is a pleasure..."

Therefore, children are the protagonists of many of his works.

Plastov's pre-war paintings were cheerful. Look at the painting "Holiday". Everyone is having fun: adults, children, and old people at the Labor Day in the village of Tagai. The artist worked on this painting for 15 years and wrote more than two hundred sketches. This painting was awarded an honorary award - the Order of Lenin.

But the war came. Ruins of villages, scorched, war-torn fields - this is how the peasant artist saw Russia.

During these difficult years for the Motherland, Plastov created one of his best paintings, “The Fascist Flew.”

4.Work based on the picture.

— How did you feel looking at the picture? What feelings does the painting evoke?

Pain and compassion for the dead shepherdess.

“There are quiet, modest paintings, but when you look at them, your heart sank.

Arkady Aleksandrovich shared his impressions: “There are such paintings that while you’re painting, you’ll cry.”

Pay attention to the epigraph to the lesson: “This picture was painted with one spirit, with an angry heart.”

What did the artist want to say with these words?

What happened? What is the plot of the picture?

The boy was herding sheep and cows. He had just reached the edge of the forest when he heard the approaching sound of an airplane. I looked at the sky and... And the fascist flew into the peaceful fields of our Motherland, fired a burst from an airplane, killed cows, sheep, hit the boy, right in the head.

— We see that the main character is a shepherd boy. Therefore, the artist shows him in the foreground.

How old is the boy?

About 10-11 years old, our age.

Why was he entrusted with tending the flock?

The war, the adults went to the front, the boy remained in charge.

What detail in the boy's image indicates what happened?

A boy lies in the meadow with a bullet through his head and his head bleeding.

How is the shepherd dressed, what do these details say?

Dressed very modestly, almost poorly. He is wearing a jacket from someone else’s shoulder and a hat with earflaps.

What does his pose say?

He buried his face in his native land, as if seeking its protection.

Who else is in the foreground?

Little dog, faithful friend and helper.
A white mongrel with black spots sits next to the boy and howls sadly and inconsolably.
What else speaks about the tragedy?

Death of animals. Some, killed, lie in the meadow, others, frightened, come out of the forest and wander along the edge.

Where did the tragedy occur? At the edge of the forest.

The background of the picture is an autumn landscape.

Lexical work with the word: landscape.

note

Nature in Plastov’s works is always a character, carries an important semantic and emotional load, and helps to understand the content of the work.

-When describing nature, we will move from the foreground to the background.

-Describe the meadow.

Lexical work with the words withered, brown.

The grass is withered; brown, brownish-green; the grass withered and drooped.

What did the artist show among the withered grass?

Young pines, they seem to have scattered across the clearing and hid,
stand modestly, without moving, as if frightened by what happened.
Next to the boy is a bush with bright red leaves.
They burn like a fire, as if they are trying to warm the boy.
In the background, birch trees attract our attention. Describe them. The leaves of birch trees are golden, amber, as if soaked in the sun; are burning

red gold.

White-trunked, thin, young. Anxious - they bend strongly under the gusts of wind, their golden leaves flutter in the cold wind.

School essay for 7th grade based on Plastov’s painting “The Fascist Flew Over”

Author: Marina, 7th grade

The painting “The Fascist Flew” by Soviet artist A.A. Plastova plunged me into thought about the war that our country experienced. Although so much time has passed, the horrors that happened and the broken destinies of people should not be forgotten. Therefore, such paintings, simply but brutally showing the everyday life of war, are very important.

The little shepherd boy suffered only because he took the herd out to graze at the wrong time, and the pilot of the fascist plane suddenly decided to fire a machine gun across the fields, although there was no one there. Even the fact that he bent down to the ground could not save the boy. The bullet hit him in the head, so there is no chance of survival. This is also understood by the dog, which did not run away in fright from the shots, but remained next to its owner. She howls pitifully and whines about his death. The plane has almost disappeared behind the clouds, but the consequences of its appearance will affect people. Someone lost a son, a dog was left without a friend, a herd was left without its shepherd.

The turmoil that is happening in the picture is conveyed to me. A strong wind sways the branches of the trees, the dog bursts into a pitiful howl. Cows and sheep are huddled together and rushing around the clearing, not understanding what is happening. Such confusion was everywhere during wartime. No one knew when and where the fascist plane would appear and how much trouble it would bring to the population. The artist managed to capture this disturbing motif that permeates the entire image. The picture touches your soul; you involuntarily begin to empathize with all the innocent victims, including the shepherd boy.
