- My room description
In my apartment on the fourth floor, where I live with my mom and dad, I have my own room. My room is very spacious, wide and bright. It holds a lot of necessary things - a soft bed, a wardrobe, a cabinet for books and textbooks and, of course, a table with my favorite computer.
The wallpaper in my room is light blue. There are indoor flowers on the window, which I water myself. The floor is covered with soft carpet. Blue curtains create a special comfort, saving me from the sun's rays during the day and in the evening from the gaze of neighbors from the windows of the house opposite.
On the wall above the computer desk there are photographs of me, my parents and my friends. On the table next to the computer there are pencils and pens in a special stationery glass.
In the far corner of the room opposite the window, dad attached a shelf on which I placed all my awards that I received at the chess club. I have loved chess since childhood.
There are also gym equipment in my room. This is a gymnastic wall bar and sports rings that my father attached to the ceiling. There is a nightstand nearby where I put my dumbbells and weights to build muscle strength in my arms. That's all you need to exercise at home.
I clean my room myself, because I need to help my parents, who are very tired at work. I love it when everything is in its place and there is no dust on it. I love it when my room smells fresh, so every morning I like to open the window and ventilate my cozy home.
I love my room very much, it is a cozy and warm home. In it I can relax, collect my thoughts, survive troubles, and also do what I love, for example, play on the computer. Thanks to my parents for giving me such a magnificent room.
Option 2
Every person should have a place in which he feels cozy, comfortable and safe. For me, this place is my room, where I spend a lot of time.
My room is my castle! There is everything you need for work, creativity and, of course, relaxation. It is made in calm pastel colors, and all the furniture and accessories are selected and arranged taking into account my wishes. Thus, along one of the walls there is a huge sofa, covered with soft toys, each of which has its own story of appearance. On the walls of my room there are a lot of paintings depicting nature or animals, as well as all kinds of shelves lined with books or art supplies.
One wall is completely covered with a huge wardrobe - a compartment with mirrored doors. I like to dress up in front of him, take pictures, or just make faces. There are so many interesting things in this closet besides clothes that sometimes even I discover some interesting things for myself. On the other wall hangs a not very large white TV - a favorite of my eyes. In the same room there is my favorite instrument - an electronic piano, on which I have to work a lot. I do my homework at my favorite desk, placed by the window. This arrangement makes it possible to look out the window while thinking about homework. On the floor there is a thick and incredibly soft carpet in shades of beige, gently hugging my feet as I walk on it. The ceiling of my room is decorated with a large chandelier with countless small bulbs, giving a lot of bright light. I love every piece of furniture here and every corner!
After homework is done, you can go about your business in my room, because there is everything you need here.
And when I’m sad, I can be bored on the wide windowsill, looking at the beautiful view from the window of my room. There is a birch tree, through the branches of which you can see a pond with ducks swimming on it. Such a review sets you up for a wave of dreams, and all sadness disappears.
My parents are offended that I spend too much time in my room behind a closed door. But this is my favorite room! This is my place of coziness and comfort zone!
Essay My room (on behalf of the boy)
How I love my bright, spacious room. My room is located under the very roof of our house, on the attic floor. I can’t tell you how cozy and pleasant it is to be there. In my room there are three small windows, with beautiful openwork curtains, they look out onto our beautiful garden.
In the summer it’s nice to spend time watching the flowers bloom through the window and our dogs frolicking in the fresh air. In winter you can see an extraordinary picture, a snow-covered garden and a white fluffy blanket of snow covering the paths. Friends often come to me after school and we play, I have a lot of toys, I especially love my collection of cars.
The walls in my room are warm in color, there is a soft fluffy carpet on the floor, and a starry sky on the ceiling. I also have a sports corner, there is a wall bars, a rope ladder, a horizontal bar, and in the evenings with dad, after homework is done, we spend there. Dad says that you need to get used to sports from childhood in order to be a strong and healthy boy.
In the study part of my room there is a desk, at the table I do my homework, my mother helps me and checks the mistakes I have made. There are many bookshelves mounted on the wall. I also have a computer on my desk, a cup with pens, pencils and felt-tip pens. I like to draw with my colorful felt-tip pens.
I hang my drawings on the walls, and there are also posters of my favorite actors and performers on the walls.
From an early age I was taught to love my room, keep it tidy and take care of my toys. I love to hang out with the boys and girls outside, but I always enjoy coming back to my little room and spending time in it.
Essay on the topic My room for a girl
I live in a multi-storey building on the sixteenth floor with my parents. Our apartment has three rooms, so I have my own separate room. I live in a very spacious, bright and large room.
My room looks completely girly. On one wall I have a photo wallpaper of the Eiffel Tower. The wallpaper is pink, and the rest of the walls are painted soft blue. My bed is very large, three people can easily fit on it. There is a lamp near the bed so that I can read books in the evenings. The lamp, chandelier and bed are made in bronze. I think my room looks very romantic.
Opposite the bed I have a huge wardrobe and many shelves hanging. There I have books, clothes, soft toys and other things. I have a beautiful, oddly shaped mirror hanging next to my closet, and underneath it is a chest of drawers. In the chest of drawers I store my jewelry, cosmetics, numerous notebooks with folders and everything I need for drawing.
I have a desk near the window, on it there is a table lamp, a globe, a laptop, speakers and stationery. I try to always keep my desk neat, otherwise it is very difficult for me to concentrate on my studies.
Next to the table in my room there is a cabinet with a printer on it. I always print something out for school. I have a box under my desk where I put unwanted paper. I accumulate a lot of waste paper. My family and I try to take care of the environment, so we take waste paper for recycling.
Also, near my bed there is a bed for my beloved dog, and her toys are always scattered near her sleeping place.
I really like my room, I'm always happy to come here. I feel very comfortable and cozy here, I feel protected, I like to do my homework here and invite my friends to visit.
Essay No. 3: Description of a room on behalf of a girl, 6th grade
Plan

- table - workplace
- carpet
- books
- bed
Room
My room is medium in size. Not small, where you can’t turn around, but not huge, where it’s empty and uncomfortable. The large and only window in my room is to the left of the entrance. My bed is on the right, the desk is in the middle of the large wall. I love looking out of my window at the city that is far below; the window is also my guide to the world of stars at night. I have a small telescope and on cloudless nights I spend a long time looking at the stars, constellations and planets.
Table - workplace
Here is my desk. This is my work area, at this table I do my homework, write essays, it is for serious studies, not for games and dreams.
Carpet
I like to dream on the floor, on a fluffy carpet; this is my favorite place to fantasize about different distant countries and travels. There is a huge globe on the carpet, along which I mentally travel, plot routes and invariably return to my favorite city to my dad and mom.
Books
There is also a small library in my room. It consists of three shelves, which I slowly fill with books. In my library there are many books that I have already read, which I left as good memories of the adventures I experienced on the pages. Next to the shelves with books there is a large and soft chair, in which I like to read in the evenings, turning on a small night light in the shape of a kitten, my mother’s gift.
Bed
My bed is medium in size, but soft and comfortable. I rest on it after classes and swimming training, sleep until lunch on weekends, and just lie around on vacation. On the ceiling, right above the bed, the starry sky flashes at night; when the lights are turned off, the stars twinkle with their mysterious light almost until the morning. I often fall asleep looking at the constellations on the ceiling and have cosmic dreams.
My room is bright and cozy. This is the best place in the apartment, and so does my cat, who loves to stay in my room for a long time and even falls asleep with me.
This is my room - my world, my territory, where I feel free and easy.
Essay 4
I got my own room at the age of 7 after moving to another city. The new apartment, and the special part of it that was given to my personal disposal, immediately took a liking to me. As a family, we started arranging and decorating it, and now it looks very nice, but the most important thing is that I feel cozy and comfortable here.
Opening the stained glass door, which I dreamed of all my childhood, you can get into my spacious room. There's plenty of space here. If you wish, you can even do a cartwheel or dance something fiery and modern. The windows, hung with light yellow curtains, face directly to the east, so in the morning all the walls are flooded with cheerful sunlight. The bright summer mood is further emphasized by beige wallpaper and blooming violets on the windowsill. Thanks to this, waking up and getting ready for a new day here becomes much easier and more enjoyable.
My bed is under the ceiling, which always surprises guests and makes me happy. It is always neatly tucked in with delicate linens that echo the patterns of the wood from which the bed itself is made. Under the bed there is a wardrobe and numerous shelves with notebooks and books, because I really like to read.
In addition to reading, I am interested in sports and do it every day. There is also a separate corner in my room for this. The wall bars, horizontal bar, bungee, rings and soft yoga mats help me throw out negativity after a long day of work and keep my body in good shape.
But I deservedly consider the balcony to be my favorite place. Last year, for my birthday, my parents carried out renovations here and set up a real classroom in the room. Now I spend most of my free time on the balcony: studying lessons, reading classical literature, painting with watercolors, dreaming and planning the future. Right in front of my eyes on the table I placed a wish card that I made with my own hands. She inspires and motivates me to new achievements. Among my dreams are pasted cut-out Carbonara pasta from a romantic Italian restaurant, the desired Moscow State University for admission, the Eiffel Tower and many other things. I dream about Paris most of all, so figurines of its main attractions decorate almost every shelf above my desk.
If my home is my fortress, then my room is its most reliable and safe part. Being here is not only calm, but also pleasant, because the entire interior is furnished in accordance with my character and desires.

What does my room look like
The walls of my room are light purple. There is a balcony and a window overlooking the park, where you can admire nature while sitting in the room. I have a table and a chair by the window, where I do my homework, play computer games, read various magazines, books and much more. There is a large and comfortable bed against the wall, above which hangs a picture (a very beautiful waterfall). I really like paintings that depict nature: trees, rivers, lakes, forests and the like. There is a nightstand in the corner and there I keep all my notebooks, books, magazines. Not far from the bedside table there is a medium-sized wardrobe. There is a warm brown rug on the floor, which fits very well into the interior. I also have a small mirror that hangs on the wall.
Friends often come to visit me and I invite them to my room. Here we can listen to a variety of music together, watch films, drink tea, or just talk and discuss various issues that are interesting to us. Last year there was a renovation here, and after that a lot has changed. We bought new curtains because these ones were already a little old and didn't match the color. We also swapped the bed and wardrobe. I also want to buy a nice soft chair like the one my cousin Christina has. I often clean and put things in order here so that it is always clean and pleasant.
