  • My grandmother

It so happened that my grandmother and I live in different cities. But every summer I go with great joy to visit her on vacation. In anticipation of our meeting, I imagine how much fun we will have together.

My grandmother is short, like almost all grandmothers in the world. The hair is very long. Every morning she carefully combs them and neatly puts them in a bun on top of her head. When I was just a baby, my grandmother allowed me to do her hair. I armed myself with a bunch of hairpins and bows and spent hours working on her long hair. In the family archive there is even a photograph in which I proudly look at the work of my hands, and my grandmother’s head is strewn with many ponytails, collected in multi-colored rubber bands.

She has incredibly kind and cheerful eyes. Even when grandma talks sternly to someone, her eyes sparkle with kindness. She seems to smile with them.

But the most amazing thing about grandma is her soul. She is several decades older than me, but sometimes it seems to me that she is much younger. She has so much energy. When I was very little, I often thought that my grandmother had a battery hidden somewhere and that’s why she never slept. I never saw her resting or sleeping.

We re-read all the children's books. Why are there books, my granny herself is like an encyclopedia. She knows many poems and fables by heart. The most amazing thing is when she starts talking to you in the language of literary stories or on behalf of characters. You complain to her about disagreements between your friends, and after listening, she will recite I.A.’s fable by heart. Krylov "Swan, Crayfish and Pike".

Sometimes in the evenings, after a hot day, my grandmother and I will sit on the porch and she will sing old Russian songs. And before going to bed, he will definitely tell you an interesting story from his childhood.

When I grow up, I really want to become like my grandmother: to be as kind, cheerful, caring, interesting and not the least bit grouchy. I'm proud to be her granddaughter.

May every child in the world have such an amazing grandmother!

Option 2

For every person, their own family ties are priceless. These people love, understand, help in difficult times, and share their experiences. My grandmother occupies a special place among them. As a member of the oldest generation, she serves as a role model in my life. She is a very pleasant, hardworking, active woman with a rich speech. It’s not for nothing that people are drawn to her from the outside. Grandmother resembles a fairy-tale heroine: a kind savior with blue eyes and a sincere loving gaze. I never cease to be amazed at how she manages everything.

But the main thing that makes up her kind attitude and all-forgiving love for us is the experience accumulated over the years, which the whole family needs so much. In any situation there is a need for her wise advice.

Sometimes I get the feeling that grandma is never wrong. This becomes clear from the actions and events in which she takes part: she cooks so deliciously that you want to try every dish again. He agrees with many of my decisions, unobtrusively presenting recommendations or advice for the future, which are very helpful.

Grandma's apartment is in the city. It is cozy and has an atmosphere of peace and warmth. You really miss it when you are away from this place. It's always clean and tidy, and there are incredibly beautiful flowers on the windowsills. Over the years, the situation has hardly changed, but this only attracts.

I try to take care and not upset my grandmother. Of course, she will always forgive and pretend that she was not offended. But I react to such a manifestation of love only with reciprocity, respecting not only her old age, but also her endless care for us. Every year she gets more wrinkles, but for me it doesn’t matter. I love her with all my soul.

Option 3

My grandmother lives next to us. Our village is small and all the houses are located close to each other.

When I was little, I really loved going to spend the night with my grandmother. In the evening we ate oatmeal cookies with fresh milk, which she brought from friends. And in the morning there were always delicious pancakes, which she started baking before sunrise.

Grandmother very often gets up before dawn. She worked as a teacher and spent her entire life checking her students’ notebooks and then going to work. She gave me a red pen and together with her I checked my friends’ homework, and then sternly and incorruptibly graded them. My grandmother and I went to see her mother, my great-grandmother. She chopped wood and I put it in the shed. I imagined that this was ammunition and my grandmother and I needed to load a full warehouse to repel the Germans.

I remember how she and I went to the lake in winter with shovels and cleaned it. We dreamed that we would gather a whole hockey team and play a real match! And in the summer we went to the forest to pick mushrooms and berries, so that in the evening we could enjoy them with our family.

From early childhood, my grandmother taught me to do the right thing, so that people would always speak kindly about me. Since then, I know that you can’t take other people’s things without asking, that you need to be polite and come to the aid of both good people and those who do evil. You need to be a friend to every person.

And now I’m grown up, we rarely see my grandmother, but I try to please her with at least a phone call. She is always interested to hear about my successes. In turn, it is important for me to know that she is healthy and in good spirits. She is already very old, but still as meticulous and cheerful as she was ten years ago. Every time I enter her house, she wants to please me with something: treat me to an apple, tell me news about relatives, give me a little money. For her, I remained that little child who requires care and attention. Grandma put all her love and tenderness into me, for which I am immensely grateful to her!

Essay about Grandmother

For many, the word “grandmother” is associated with carefree childhood, happy years, when the child’s thoughts have not yet accepted the difficult realities of adult life, there is a reason for laughter literally every minute and it seems that the whole world exists only here and now, not subject to the passage of time and change of people. As a very small child, I rejoiced at the moments when I managed to persuade my grandmother to tell me stories about herself, about life decades ago, about how everything was before. She read me fairy tales, rocked me in a stroller, and treated me with love and reverent care for what my memories would be like many years later.

Sometimes I feel that as a child I was luckier than some of the guys with whom I interacted and who made up my environment in kindergarten. The fact is that having a person who loves you, who can and sincerely wants to teach you new things, help you in trouble, cheer you up with a warm word in difficult times is immeasurable happiness. As a meter-long toddler, I didn’t fully understand the importance of such things, and only over the years did I come to the realization that, in fact, this man is he, even if the comparison is a little strange, like an inflatable mattress for swimming. In a calm time, you feel good with him, you have fun and rejoice, but in the hour of despair, when you risk drowning from the troubles that rush in at once, he becomes not just a heartfelt friend, but your thread that connects you with everything positive, everything so glorious, just like once in childhood.

My grandmother almost always shared my interests, took my failures seriously and was proud of me for my achievements in school and other areas. And the point, I’ll tell you, is not just that I’m her grandson. She maintains this attitude towards everyone around her. She is friendly with her neighbors and will not say a bad word to a stranger on the street. But with us, members of the household, she is truly open and warm. He keeps our hearth and helps us a lot in housework, doing hard work with his own hands and thereby helping us.

I wish every person on earth had such a person. Putting his soul into your life, filling it with special meaning and love for the world. This is very important, because many years will pass, and the memory of childhood will not be shaken: it will forever remain those bright moments with which our relatives ennobled us from the upcoming difficulties, preparing us to enter an independent life.

Essay “My Grandmother’s Childhood”

Municipal educational institution "Bezlepka basic secondary school"

Thematic direction: “Childhood is a huge land where everyone comes from.”

Genre: essay

Title of work: “My Grandmother’s Childhood”

Where does childhood begin? What is childhood? This is something different for each person. Your own little world of memories, beautiful and not so beautiful, where a person turns his thoughts at any age.

Childhood is what saves people in adulthood. Saves with pleasant memories of the love of mother, father, grandparents. It saves you with many skills acquired exactly then, it saves you with advice from loving people, which you only begin to apply when you grow up.

When a person is still small, he does not know how to appreciate his cloudless life. It seems that a broken toy is a grief on a universal scale. But then, as he grows up, he begins to appreciate his carefree childhood.

It so happened that I have been living with my grandmother for fourteen years. Almost every day spent with her is a vivid impression of my childhood. Ask why? And I will answer. Often in the evenings, after a hot summer day or a frosty winter day, my grandmother and I sit down next to each other, and she tells me about her childhood, which I want to tell about in my essay.

My grandmother's name is Kulakova Valentina Ivanovna. She was born in the village of Prilepy (now the village of Zarechye, Manturovo district) in nineteen forty-eight. Granny didn’t see any shell explosions or explosions, but she learned after the war how hungry, cold and scary it can be. There were five of them: mother, father, two older brothers and my grandmother. At first they had no farms. I was hungry. In the summer and autumn, according to my grandmother, it was still possible to feed myself, but in the spring it was difficult. As soon as the snow melted from the fields, my grandmother secretly went to collect frozen potatoes and last year's ears of corn from the fields, hiding them in the hem of her coat so that no one would see, otherwise they could be severely punished. In winter we ate potato peelings.

Of course, it was very difficult, because I had to study and help the village with field work all year round. The work was hard: they sowed by hand day and night, harrowed the field with oxen, mowed it, put the wheat in the warehouse, and all this by hand.

“In winter,” the grandmother recalls, “her mother prepared “delicacies” in a Russian stove: steamed turnips and beets. But after such a “delicacy” I wanted to eat. There weren't enough potatoes. No matter how much it was grown, by spring everything was eaten.

The family lived poorly. They wore homespun clothes, sewn with their own hands. Grandma wore out the clothes after her older brothers.

Life improved when they started running their own farm. From the age of eight, my grandmother helped her mother. Before her arrival from collective farm work, the grandmother greeted and milked the cow, fed the chickens, geese, sheep, weeded potatoes, carried water and firewood to light the stove. “I wanted to help my tired mother,” recalls the grandmother.

No matter how hard it was, my grandmother and other children found time to play. They played rag dolls, hide and seek, rounders, and jumped over a rope. In winter we went sledding down the hill.

When my grandmother finished eighth grade, she immediately went to work. She has forty-two years of work experience in agriculture.

My grandmother remembers her difficult childhood very well. She endured hunger, exhausting work, cold, and her mother's tears. She will never forget this.

At the moment, my grandmother is seventy years old. She is an old, sick person. The harsh post-war years deprived her of a happy childhood. Communicating with her, I am surprised how she, having endured so many trials, did not lose her love for life, for her loved ones, faith and wisdom of life.

My grandmother wants me to live in peace, so that there are no wars, hunger, devastation.

“Childhood is a huge land from where everyone comes,” said A. de Saint-Exupéry. Yes... This is a huge region, cloudless and not very cloudless, joyful and not very joyful, happy and not very happy... But this is childhood. It was, is and will be for every person. But which one?

I want to wish all children a happy childhood. Let it be cloudless, filled with joyful events!

Essay Grandma

Grandmother is the most precious thing that life has given us. Since childhood, my grandmother has been taking care of us and helping us. Each of us, growing up, is obliged to do what she did when we were little. Unfortunately, many people forget this.

As for me, under no circumstances will I refuse to help my beloved grandmother. My grandmother's name is Lyudmila Petrovna. They live in the village. She is now retired, but previously she worked as a chairman on a collective farm. Many people in the village know her, which is why she often receives help from them. My grandmother has several work awards, I am very proud of her.

In the summer I often come to visit my grandmother to help her with the housework. We have fun together. For example, this summer we built a small house for chickens. Grandma was very glad that I helped her in this small matter. Waking up every morning at my grandmother’s, I feel the aromas of delicious dishes that she is already preparing for me for breakfast. Sometimes I am surprised at her dexterity.

In the fall, of course, my studies begin, and I don’t see my grandmother often. But I always try to come to her on weekends with my parents. She is very happy when I come to her. I can say the same thing about myself, when I see my grandmother, I immediately run towards her to hug her tightly.

Winter is one of the most beautiful times; it is during this time of year that I try to go to my grandmother’s house more often, because my grandmother is not able to clear the snow on her own, which interferes with the passage in the yard. We celebrated this New Year together, it was a lot of fun!

I believe that each of us should please our grandmother not only with our presence, but also with our actions. If a person truly respects himself, if he has a conscience, he will always help his family. You should remember that your grandmother will not last forever, so you should make her happy right now!

Essay “I am proud of my grandmother!”

"I'm proud of my great-grandmother."

It's the 21st century, 2021. I want to look into the past and tell you about my great-grandmother, Larisa Vasilievna Khokhlacheva.

May 1941, Rostov region, Volgodonsk city. My great-grandmother was 16 years old when the most terrible event in her life happened. She was an ordinary teenager, like everyone else. A month before the war, she could not imagine what lay ahead.

She lived in a small village where the Don River flowed. The worst thing happened: the Germans reached her farm and began to settle in more prosperous huts. After some time, the headquarters of “Young Komsomol Members” was formed in their settlement. Thanks to the work of this headquarters, the guys delivered important information about the advance of the Germans to the partisans living in the forests. Every day it became more and more difficult, the Germans began to destroy huts and kill cattle. They were merciless towards the civilian population, killing everyone who was objectionable. My great-grandmother turned out to be very brave, and was not afraid to join the “Young Komsomol” detachment; she knew what danger she was exposing herself to. She was assigned to a detachment of fighter pilots, she gave them information about the number of German guns and ammunition. This was not easy to do, she was at risk every day, she could be killed at any moment.

Larisa was a real Don Cossack. Gorgeous! She had long black braids and an athletic build. At the same time, she had a strong will and courageous character. Great-grandmother was very responsible, and therefore she was appointed assistant to the Commander-in-Chief of the squad of fighter pilots. She was loved very much for her hard work, she was always held in high esteem. She went through the Great Patriotic War with dignity. For valiant and selfless work during the Great Patriotic War, Larisa Vasilievna Khokhlacheva was awarded the medal “For Valiant Labor in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945” by decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR on June 6, 1945.

At the end of the war, she met her future husband. He came to the construction of the Tsimlyansk hydroelectric power station on the Don River in the Rostov region, near the cities of Volgodonsk and Tsimlyansk. They married in 1952, and in 1953 their first daughter was born. After that they moved to the city of Gorky. In 1958, my grandmother Lena, their second daughter, was born. Larisa Vasilievna worked for many years at the famous Gorky, she was the senior typist of the plant, typed orders and kept plant documentation, she was very literate, she could even type blindly. Later, she received a certificate for the anniversary of the medal “Thirty Years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.” on behalf of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR. The medal was awarded on April 26, 1976.

I am the great-granddaughter of Larisa Vasilievna, I am a continuation of her family. I am very proud of the history of my ancestors. Interesting fact, I am very similar to my great-grandmother, like two peas in a pod. Sometimes I get the feeling that Larisa is somewhere nearby, near me. Her invisible presence gives me even more confidence in my own abilities, because she was a true Cossack, and as a rule, Cossacks are a people with a strong spirit that is very difficult to break, so I also set worthy goals for myself and go towards them, despite no matter what. I would like to say “thank you” to my great-grandmother and all millions of people for the fact that we can live happily under a peaceful, beautiful sky!

2, 3, 5, 7 grade

My kindest grandmother on my mother’s side is Marina Aleksandrovna. My grandmother recently turned 67 years old and is already retired. Many people consider my grandmother old, but she is still in full bloom.

Before retirement, my grandmother worked in a regular school as a teacher of Russian language and literature. She taught me how to write and read correctly, and also helped me with my homework. Grandma told me many funny stories with her students. One day during class, student Diana laughed so loudly that she fell out of her chair. At this moment the whole class and even Diana laughed.

All my relatives respect and love my grandmother and happily come to visit her. In our family we even have a tradition of coming to visit grandma every Sunday. On this wonderful day, mom sets the table and we grill kebabs. Grandma makes my favorite mushroom pies, and I eat the most every time. I love spending weekends at my grandmother's with a cup of tea and board games. The neighbors also join us, and grandma can chat with them all day long, and of course she gives them her advice.

Grandma's house is located next to a small forest. In my grandmother's yard there is a complete zoo. Chickens that lay eggs and we collect them, two cats Dusya and Marusya. There is also a big dog with whom the grandmother goes into the forest to pick mushrooms and berries. There is also a pond in which large fish swim, grandfather caught them. If you go a little further, there will be an apiary where grandfather works. Grandfather always invites me to collect honey with him, but I am afraid of bees and look at his work on the sidelines. When grandpa finishes work, he treats everyone to honey, because it is very healthy.

Grandma Marina is a very smart and experienced woman, she will always help and help out. Even at school she was recognized as teacher of the year. With her I share my problems and innermost secrets, because I know that she will understand and support me. She still gives me her instructions today.

From my grandmother, I learned to respect elders, have my own opinion and express my point of view - thanks to my grandmother for all this. Grandmother Marina also instilled in me a love for my homeland and the culture of my native land. In my childhood, she read me fables and tales about heroes before bed. It got to the point that we made up our own fairy tales, and later my grandmother rewrote them to retell them to my younger brother.

I would like my grandmother to move to live with us, or we to live with her. I would like to spend more time with her, and not come once a week for a picnic. I owe a lot to my grandmother, so I will always help her.

Essay My grandmother (description of appearance) 5th, 6th, 7th grade

Everyone calls my grandmother Dusya, but in fact her name is Evdokia Ivanovna. She lives near the railway. My grandmother worked on the railroad all her life and knows how to drive a train. And my grandmother also has her own trolley, it’s a cart with wheels like a train. My parents and my grandmother and I used this cart to go into the forest.

I don't remember my grandfather. Mom said that grandfather was big and strong. Grandma is also very strong. She can lift a huge railroad hammer. When grandma has a lot of guests she performs a magic trick. He lifts this huge hammer with one hand and hammers a special nail into the sleeper the first time. Grandma never misses.

Grandmother has a small house near the forest. She loves to go for mushrooms and berries. She also fries delicious pies. And with apples, and with mushrooms, and also with different berries. My favorite is the pies with cabbage and mushrooms. My grandmother has the most delicious pies in the world!

Grandma loves flowers very much. When we visit my grandmother, she teaches me how to care for flowers and water them. Grandma's flowers grow very beautiful. There are always a lot of bees on the flowers. Grandma says that these are domestic bees and they don’t bite. There is an apiary not far from my grandmother's house. Bees live there and make honey. The grandmother is friends with the beekeeper's wife. Grandmother is treated to honey from domestic bees. Everyone likes this honey, it is very healthy and tasty.

Grandma also has a lot of chickens and several roosters. One rooster crows very loudly early in the morning. Grandma says that the rooster wakes everyone up on purpose, even during the holidays. Chickens need to be fed millet. Chickens are also given special vitamins. That's why hens produce good eggs. Grandma adds these eggs to the dough for pies, so it turns out very tasty.

In my grandmother’s yard there is a small dog house. But there is no dog. Grandmother said that the dog was grandfather's. And she doesn’t want to get a dog without her grandfather.

It’s a shame that we only visit grandma during the holidays. We asked our grandmother to move in with us, but she couldn’t leave the chickens and flowers.

I love my grandmother very much. I miss her and want to see her soon.
