- Russia is my homeland
I live in the largest and most beautiful country. Every person has a homeland, for me it is Russia. I was born and raised here, my friends, family and friends live here.
Russia ranks first in the world in terms of territory. Many different nationalities live here. The people are called Russians. Russians are very friendly people. The breadth of the Russian soul is known throughout the world. We always welcome guests. The country exists in peace and harmony with neighboring states.
Previously, my homeland was called the USSR - the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. It consisted of fifteen republics, each with its own people, its own culture and customs. Everyone lived together, as one big family.
Now my homeland is called the Russian Federation. We have the most beautiful nature: endless fields, forests, deep rivers, deep lakes and high mountains. Indescribable beauty surrounds every resident of our country.
The capital of Russia is Moscow, the largest city in Russia by population. The city is a hero with a rich history. Notable for tourists here are such monuments as Red Square, the Moscow Kremlin, and the mausoleum of Vladimir Ilyich Lenin.
There are a lot of attractions in Russia. One of them is Lake Baikal, the deepest lake on the planet, the largest natural vessel of fresh water. Baikal is located in the south of Eastern Siberia, on the border of the Irkutsk region and the Republic of Buryatia. The flora and fauna of this area are unique and diverse. Many animals that are unique to Lake Baikal live here. The underwater world of the lake is rich and unique. The lake is home to a large number of rare fish and microorganisms. The water in Baikal is crystal clear, the air in these parts is fresh. Holidays on the lake are popular in many countries of the world; tourists from all over the world come here to experience the incredible beauty and uniqueness of this corner of our Motherland.
Russia is famous for its talents. Famous scientists, writers, artists, musicians have made a huge contribution to the development of culture, science and art in our country.
I am very proud of my Russian origin. In the future I would like to travel around my entire country from edge to edge.

The most hospitable hosts and hostesses live in my homeland. You can knock on the door at any time and everyone will be welcome. In Europe, for example, this is considered bad manners and no one will open the door, even to a friend, if it is already dark outside.
Only in our country are weather miracles possible. In winter, from a paved metropolis, after a few hours, you can find yourself in snowdrifts where an ordinary car cannot pass. And also, on the lands of my homeland, you can see such a miracle of nature as the northern lights.
I am very glad that I was lucky enough to live on this land. My homeland is so wide and diverse that there is no need to travel to other countries for travel. I hope that our land will be filled with responsible inhabitants and prosper.
