Essay on the topic “My future profession is a lawyer”
I think more and more often about what profession I will choose in the future.
After all, the time is just around the corner when we all graduate from school, and we will need to choose a university. You cannot make a mistake in this matter, because the chosen profession will accompany us for the rest of our lives.
I am interested in the legal profession. Why do I want to become one? These are respected people, without whom almost no institution or company can do. You can work as a lawyer both in government organizations and in private enterprises, or you can open your own practice.
Since we live in a rule-of-law state, lawyers are in great demand. Every now and then disputes arise that must be resolved fairly and according to the law. I am sure that in order for everyone to live comfortably in our society, life in it must be built on the basis of laws and clear rules. And to regulate all these processes, various kinds of lawyers are needed (judges, lawyers, prosecutors, notaries, etc.).
In our country, a huge number of universities train lawyers, so I think there will be no problems with the educational institution. If I manage to show myself well during my studies and at conferences, then perhaps I will be able to get an internship at some large company. And this, in turn, will give impetus to my future career.
I understand that we have a lot of lawyers in our country, and there is a lot of competition among them, but, as in any business, professionals are highly valued and have an advantage. Therefore, I will need to put in a lot of effort and time and try to become a real pro in order to find my niche in my career and a worthy place in life.
I want to benefit the society in which I live, because if we resolve all disputes and conflicts in a civilized manner and according to the law, then life will be better for everyone. I am sure about that.

Essay Why I chose to become a lawyer
Among the most popular specialties, there are several professions that have been and will always be in demand in the business community, under any conditions and regimes. For example, a lawyer. Specialists of this profile are required by almost every organization, firm, enterprise, commercial and public structure. Nowadays, a lawyer’s opportunities to find interesting work in various fields have expanded quite significantly. New types of work are emerging in the protection of consumer rights, copyrights, protection of the market from unfair competition, the construction business, and in the field of real estate activities. At the same time, we are talking not just about expanding the number of jobs, but about the fact that the list of positions and jobs that require the knowledge of a lawyer is becoming wider. Currently, there is an urgent need for lawyers for the law enforcement system. The sharp increase in crime and a number of other social processes have led to the need to expand the investigative apparatus, operational staff, as well as judges and prosecutors. The profession of a lawyer is quite in demand on the labor market, especially when it comes to graduates of leading Russian law universities and faculties. The role of professional legal activity in market conditions is increasing significantly. First of all, this is due to the fact that civil turnover is sharply expanding, requiring adequate legal support: conclusion, amendment and termination of contracts, settlement of economic disputes, etc.? d. The scope of judicial protection of the rights and interests of citizens and organizations is significantly expanding, which significantly increases the number of cases in the courts. In this regard, more lawyers, legal advisers, notaries, judges, etc. are required. The role of lawyers is becoming increasingly important because the economic condition of organizations and the well-being of citizens directly depend on the results of their activities. A lawyer, no matter what field of activity he works in, must have a good knowledge of substantive and procedural law. In a situation of dynamic changes in Russian legislation, the inclusion of our country in the European and global space, for a specialist of any level there is a danger of losing skills if there is no opportunity to constantly improve their qualifications. Ideally, a lawyer should have such qualities as honesty, decency, literacy, self-discipline, and responsibility. Professional legal activity is complex and multifaceted. Its psychological analysis always makes it possible to identify a number of stages through which the movement towards the final goal took place - establishing the truth. To one degree or another, the following aspects can be distinguished in professional legal activity: search (cognitive), communicative, certification, organizational, reconstructive (constructive), social. In each of the above aspects, the corresponding personal qualities are realized, ensuring the success of the activity. The activity of a lawyer is a multi-level, hierarchical phenomenon. At each level, the achievement of the goals characteristic of this level is ensured by the corresponding personal structures, and their achievement provides the opportunity to move on to achieving the goals of higher levels of activity. Lawyers need to be able to rationally distribute their strengths and abilities in order to maintain work productivity throughout the entire working day, to possess professional psychological qualities in order to obtain optimal evidentiary data with the least expenditure of nervous energy. In the consistent development of such professional qualities as flexibility of mind and character, keen observation and tenacious memory, self-control and endurance, integrity and fairness, organization and independence, the recommendations of psychological science are of great importance, which indicates the right ways and means of their formation. Along with this, further increasing the efficiency of the work of forensic investigators requires a comprehensive, in-depth development of the psychological foundations of forensic tactics, as well as the study or knowledge of the psychology of other participants in criminal proceedings (accused, victim, witness, etc.). The psychological competence of forensic investigators helps “to prevent errors, sometimes fraught with serious consequences, that can arise when judging human actions due to underestimation of psychological aspects.” A lawyer is a person who is called upon to rise above his habits and desires: he must do his job in a way that is required by the highest interests of society. Offenders are often strong, focused individuals who are not easy to fight with. Often, work on solving and investigating crimes is a battle between personalities and characters. A person is formed into a personality in the process of social practice. Legal education is the first step towards establishing oneself as an individual in the field of law. Legal education should provide the knowledge and understanding of language and skill necessary for a legal practitioner, including an understanding of the legal and ethical responsibilities, rights and fundamental freedoms of an individual as recognized by domestic and international law. I want to be a lawyer. A lawyer, as you know, defends. He handles either criminal or civil cases in court, but usually has an even narrower specialization. For example, it deals with transport accidents, divorces or housing disputes. To become a lawyer, you need not only to graduate from a law school or institute, but also to have work experience (about two years), pass the bar exam and join one of the bar associations. A business lawyer, unlike a lawyer, rarely appears in court. His task is precisely to ensure that his client - a firm, a bank, a company - does not have to go to court. He helps to draw up agreements and peacefully resolve various conflicts. This job has a lot in common with what a lawyer does in a firm. Only a business lawyer has many clients and very often comes to their aid in critical situations. Business advocacy is the pinnacle that many lawyers would like to climb to. But not everyone succeeds in this. legal lawyer law It is not easy for a new lawyer. The main thing is hard work, desire, work on yourself. I am ready to work for the future, and future difficulties and obstacles inspire me. I want to help people and constantly feel that many of them need me. Not everything works out right away; it takes experience and practice. It is important for aspiring lawyers to listen to the advice of professionals, learn to be a defender of the law and justice. I have made my choice in the profession and I want to realize myself in it. Posted on Allbest.ru…
Profession lawyer essay
I hope that in the future I will become a lawyer. Before choosing it, I thought and pondered for a long time about what profession I should choose.
A lawyer is one of the most complex and important professions of our time. It helps to exonerate an innocent person and solve many crimes. There is a saying: 'It is better to let ten guilty people go free than to convict one innocent one. In such difficult situations, a lawyer must show all his intelligence and all his knowledge. I want to choose this profession because it is in great demand on the labor market, and I hope that I can find a good job. I also love justice very much, and I will do my best to ensure that it prevails.
Because a lawyer must be a person of high integrity and honesty. But for this I have to do very well in school in order to get into a good law school. Because the university plays a very important role for this profession. A good legal education will help me learn all the laws, codes and legal regulations. But this profession is very difficult and not everyone can do it.
You need to have extraordinary willpower and perseverance in order to learn the entire theory and not give up when difficulties arise. And I think that I am quite purposeful and can achieve good results. A lawyer is not only a theorist, but also a practitioner, so he must have a very developed logic. A lawyer needs not only to know the theory, but also to be able to apply it in practice, so as not to get confused in difficult life situations. I want to help people to feel wanted and needed.
Even if you cannot find a profession in your specialty, you will be able to professionally protect your rights and the rights of your family at any time and in any situation. That is why I decided to choose such an important and necessary profession as a lawyer.
Answers and explanations
why I decided to become a lawyer
I really enjoy watching television programs that deal with issues of law and order. One evening there was a program with the participation of the most interesting person Anatoly Kucherena. I paid close attention to every word he said, every thought, because they were clear, concise, and understandable to all participants in the dialogue. Later I found out that Anatoly Kucherena is a Doctor of Law, one of the best lawyers in Russia. He achieved great success in his life thanks to hard work and perseverance, sincere devotion to his favorite work. For me, he immediately became a role model. This is how the person on the screen influenced and even somewhat changed the whole course of my thoughts about my future profession. I finally decided to become a lawyer.
In my opinion, the legal profession is very honorable and in demand. Every person living in society must understand this. Why did she interest me?
Firstly, because it requires activity and constant contact with people, and I am a very sociable person. Being with people is my calling.
Secondly, working as a lawyer means doing good to people, seeking justice in accordance with the law.
Thirdly, working as a lawyer is not only honorable and prestigious, but also profitable. This job is a good stepping stone for career advancement up to the head of a large company.
To become a professional lawyer, you need to learn a lot: you need to master various legal terms, concepts, literally understand a huge number of codes, laws, you need to be to some extent a psychologist so that people do not panic and are able to competently protect their rights. All this requires good memory, endurance, endurance and courage. That is why not all people can be lawyers, but only a few. I also belong to this category.
My soul is drawn to this profession, and only with it do I really want to connect my life. I want to become a great specialist in the field of jurisprudence. For this I chose to study in a socio-legal class. Law is my favorite subject and I spend more time and attention on it than others. I easily apply the acquired knowledge in everyday life, give advice to classmates and friends. This year I participated in the city subject Olympiad for the first time, taking third place. But I’m not going to stop there. I plan to achieve greater success next year and compete at the republican level. I think I will succeed. I am often told that in recent years a huge number of lawyers have been trained in the country and their wages are low, many university graduates work outside their specialty, I think that there is always a decent job for a qualified specialist. I will never give up on my plans, no matter what obstacles stand in my way. And it is no coincidence that I chose Goethe’s words as my life motto: “Difficulties increase as you approach the goal. But let everyone make his way like the stars calmly, not in a hurry, but constantly striving towards the intended goal.” I see my life goal in professional success, respect from others and a sincere desire to do what I love.
Main features of the legal profession
The professional activity of a lawyer is an analysis of energy sources, quality and quantity of efforts, individually, collectively and throughout society, purposefully affected by legal professionals to implement the law. The main features of the legal profession: - Mass character of the legal profession. Hundreds of thousands of people are engaged in professional legal activities. These are investigators, prosecutors, judges, lawyers, legal advisers, notaries. Consequently, there are ample opportunities to choose a suitable job for people with different abilities, aspirations, and characters. — Special responsibility of legal activity (external - to someone and internal - to oneself). The fate of people, their property and non-property relations, the stability of the economy, the interests of the author and inventor, order on the street and the safety of citizens depend on the advice and decisions of lawyers. Workers in the legal profession sometimes make decisions that are unfavorable for others and difficult for themselves. Lawyers' mistakes (illegal arrest, incorrect court decision) can negatively affect the state of law and order, and the well-being of members of society. — Conflicts in the activities of lawyers. Lawyers and their professional activities are constantly under pressure from various forces and interests. The individual work of a lawyer, the activities of the judicial system, law enforcement agencies, and the functioning of the national community of lawyers are in a certain conflict with their environment. Society is trying to reduce the costs of lawyers' activities: full disclosure of crimes, quick justice, accessible legal assistance, and at the same time seeks to protect its rights, limit (try to limit) the powers of lawyers. All this is generated by the natural contradiction of social interests, and the professional activity of lawyers is always built on the basis of a compromise with society. — Prestige of legal activity. This feature of the legal profession has two sides. Lawyers are generally respected in their social circles. Society pays a lot of attention to them. The work of lawyers is usually spoken of with respect and best-selling books are written. At the same time, citizens and society are often wary of lawyers. Their work is not always paid according to the efforts expended. Their behavior is treated especially strictly. Lawyers' mistakes, sometimes unavoidable, attract severe criticism. — Intellectual attractiveness of the work of lawyers. The professional activity of lawyers motivates them to seek the truth, achieve success, and be able to solve a problem. Possession of professional knowledge, the ability to apply it in practice, and find a way out of a difficult situation allows a lawyer to feel like a necessary, useful professional. — Teamwork of lawyers. Lawyers, whatever their position, depend on other professionals (lawyers and non-lawyers). They work in the legal work industry. The results of their work are mutually ensured by the activities of various departments. Court decisions are determined by the activities of lawyers and legal advisers; court verdict - by investigators, prosecutors. Therefore, the underdevelopment or inefficiency of one of the links in the system or participants in professional activities negatively affects individual professional activities and the industry as a whole. Turning to the work of professional lawyers, it is necessary to note its responsible, difficult and at the same time interesting, diverse and highly intellectual nature. Lawyers, carrying out professional activities, bear enormous responsibility, since the results of this activity greatly affect people's lives. All lawyers are in one way or another under the control of society and attract attention to themselves. This is difficult but very necessary work.

“Why do I want to become a lawyer?”
Each of us sooner or later chooses a profession. Everyone proceeds from what they like, what is prestigious and brings high income, what he has and what talents and capabilities a person has. The "arithmetic mean" of all this is a choice. But I want to become a lawyer, not because it's a great option. I have great success in law and social studies, and I really like these subjects.
Law seems to me to be a unique field, and all professions in this industry are very interesting, especially the legal profession. After all, lawyers, as a rule, have a broad outlook. Moreover, even if something doesn’t work out in life and I don’t become a lawyer, the education of a lawyer will never be superfluous.
Plus, being a lawyer means working with people and their stories, which is what I love. I think I have the necessary qualities for this profession, such as communication skills, patience, responsibility, and ingenuity. I am also a hardworking person and am willing to put in a lot of effort to become a qualified lawyer. But creativity is also important in this profession. I will have to make an impression and be able to get the jury on my side in court. And I can definitely do this!

Why I decided to become a lawyer...
Work is part of our life. And it should be pleasant and loved, like a hobby. This concept very closely fits the concept of an ideal job, since a hobby is a type of human activity, a kind of activity, a hobby that is regularly practiced at leisure, for the soul. Hobbies are a good way to combat stress, and hobbies often help develop your horizons. The main goal of a hobby is to help self-realization. Often, over time, a hobby develops into a main activity, a job that brings income and moral satisfaction. Therefore, an ideal job is an activity that you enjoy and, in addition, generates income. Usually, a person chooses as his main job exactly what he liked, as a hobby or main hobby “for the Soul.”
An ideal job is a person’s purpose and self-realization. After all, we put our soul into our work, realize our abilities, satisfy our needs, fulfill our desires. An ideal job should correspond to the rhythm of life and fit exactly into a person’s personal characteristics. It gives a person the opportunity to be in his place and do his job.
I believe that the choice I made in a professional direction gave me an incentive to engage in an ideal job that gives the right to self-realization and satisfaction of life ambitions, such as:
- engaging in an activity that is reliable and stable, brings pleasure from both the process and the result, which is interesting and even creative, preserves personality, promotes development: spiritual, personal and professional growth of myself and my employees;
- implementing reasonable communication with people, social benefit, promoting good relations with employees;
- obtaining income that allows you to support your family and help your parents make savings;
- availability of time for family, rest, self-development.
So, my hobby is being a lawyer.
The legal profession is one of the oldest. It originated in Ancient Rome. The first professional lawyers were members of the College of Pontiffs, who were involved in resolving almost all controversial issues that arose among citizens. They also helped people in concluding important transactions, drafting claims and other important legal documentation. The very concept of the term “lawyer” comes from the Latin word meaning “law”, and therefore jurisprudence means “knowledge of the law”. The founders of law as a branch of science were such philosophers of the ancient world as: Socrates, Aristotle, Plato.
Currently, the essence of the profession has not changed somewhat and lawyers, like their ancient colleagues, the pontiffs, perform the same functions, widely using in their work the experience accumulated over centuries.
Modern lawyers provide a wide range of services. They help citizens in resolving various cases. Also, they officially represent the interests of persons in court and appeal court decisions to various authorities.
In addition to providing services to individuals, lawyers also participate in the activities of enterprises. They effectively accompany enforcement proceedings and provide advice on legal issues related to taxation and business. Lawyers are entrusted with registration and support of societies, institutions, and organizations. They are also involved in the registration (liquidation) of all limited liability companies and individual entrepreneurs. Participate in the development of all kinds of contracts, constituent documents, instructions, and other legal documents.
The positive aspect of this profession is the opportunity to improve the world for the better, make it safe and fair. Unfortunately, the “struggle for justice” does not always end in victory. In addition, every lawyer is constantly under the close control of higher authorities, public organizations and media workers, and each of his mistakes can greatly affect his reputation and jeopardize his career in the future.
Now the concept of “lawyer” unites all people engaged in diverse professional legal activities - judges, investigators, prosecutors, notaries, legal advisers, lawyers, and sometimes experts. In the Russian Federation, a lawyer can be a person who has received secondary or higher professional legal education. As a general rule, in order to defend persons brought to criminal liability, a lawyer must pass a qualification exam and become a lawyer; at the request of the accused, as well as in cases of private prosecution, it is possible to admit another person to carry out the defense. To provide legal assistance in civil, administrative and other cases, a lawyer does not need to have the status of an attorney.
So, who is a “lawyer”? A lawyer is a specialist who has professional knowledge in the field of legal sciences, laws and knows how to apply them in his practical activities. Provides services to protect the rights and interests of individuals and legal entities, and also carries out consulting activities on legal issues related to doing business and drawing up legal documentation .
I started practicing as a lawyer not so long ago, since I have little experience and an incomplete higher legal education. However, my work has become the meaning of life - my hobby. A job that brings joy from communicating with people from different walks of life and fields of activity, positive emotions, prosperity and popularity, and also develops in such popular industries as forensics is a dream job, you must agree... That’s why I chose to work as a lawyer.

The emergence of the profession in Russia The first mentions of this profession in Rus' were subsidized in the 15th century. Historians explain this by the fact that in Ancient Rus' the main measure of punishment was “God’s judgment.” The culprit was thrown into the water, and if it happened that he survived, he was considered innocent. Some of the first evidence of lawyers was from Novgorod. A law was approved there, thanks to which every defendant had the right to a lawyer. Some testimonies indicated that only monks, women and children had the right to a lawyer.

Why did I choose the specialty of an expert?
My name is Maria, I am a 3rd year student at the Faculty of Law of Moscow State University. M.V. Lomonosov, Department of Criminalistics. Every student in the 3rd or 4th year asks himself the question whether he is making the right choice of specialty, and often this question does not depend on whether you have dreamed of this specialty all your life or are trying to decide while receiving your education. My dream has always been to become a criminologist. It all started with unconscious and abstract images in childhood, obtained from books and documentaries, of which there were a countless number in my leisure time already in elementary school. I continued studying the profession at a distance in high school and, finally, entering the main university of the country. And now, when half of the training has been completed, I wonder if I deceived myself by blindly following my childhood dream. The answer to this question will be the subject of my short essay, which I hope will not be too boring and trivial for the reader.
Why did I choose this specialty? Because I am 99.9% sure (even if we put aside the maximalism typical of young people) that this is my element. Attentiveness, responsibility, education and development - not only these qualities should characterize an expert. Rigor and agility of intellect and quick wit also need to be mentioned in this list. These qualities are either inherent to the individual by nature or develop with experience, and it cannot be said that specialists in other industries may not possess them. Therefore, I will highlight, in my opinion, the most important thing - a person should “be passionate” about his profession in the good sense of the word. I chose this specialty because I am “sick” of it not emotionally, but mentally. For me, this is limitless scope for science - searching for new problems and studying old ones. For me, this is the living key of creativity - finding solutions and innovating methods. For me, this is an opportunity to direct all the sharpness of my mind to an object and fish out the smallest details, go from the particular to the general, and assemble one big puzzle. What is important to me is a constantly growing interest, the opportunity to learn, cultivate a large amount of material within myself and pour it into practice.
I have a lot to say about my choice. The key is the dynamics and scientific nature of the profession. There are many strong walls built around these categories that make my decision strong and unshakable. And now, to answer my own question: I was not mistaken.

My speciality
As Confucius said: “Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.”
While still at school, I learned about the specialty “Customs Affairs”; I was immediately very interested in it, since one of its specializations is “Commodity research and examination in customs affairs and Commodity Nomenclature of Foreign Economic Activity”. When entering the university, I had absolutely no doubts about my choice, considering this area of scientific knowledge not only one of the most interesting, but also useful.
Having completed an internship at the Tula Forensic Laboratory, I was not at all disappointed in my choice. Every day of practice I was in different departments: from handwriting to auto technical; I constantly learned something new for myself. Helping experts carry out their research, working with all kinds of reagents and using special equipment, I realized how interesting and exciting this profession is!
Years of study at the university and the wealth of knowledge, skills and abilities instilled in us by our teachers, including practical forensic workers, allow me to look forward with hope and optimism to the start of my career in the field of forensic science. Of course, I still have a lot to learn, but thanks to the experience of our teachers and the guidance of practical workers, I am sure that the profession I have chosen for study is very important and relevant, and the knowledge gained from this will be useful to me in all areas of my life.
