Every student probably has a favorite teacher who is liked more than all other teachers. I'm not an exception. My favorite teacher is Semyonova Natalya Pavlovna, she teaches Russian language and literature, and also Natalya Pavlovna is our class teacher, our second mother.
Natalya Pavlovna took our class when we entered 5th grade. I had a positive impression from our first meeting. She is a tall, stately, beautiful woman with red curly hair, green eyes, long red nails, wearing patent black high-heeled shoes, a black blouse and dress pants, and a gold watch on her left hand. I was always surprised by this woman, how she combines both gentleness and severity in certain situations.
Each lesson with Natalya Pavlovna is special, each time she comes up with a different lesson plan. These could be interesting interactive videos on a projector, easy-to-memorize rules on the board, independent study of a topic from a textbook, printed material, the teacher tries to convey each topic to each of us, at the end of the lesson he always conducts exercises aimed at memorizing and consolidating the material covered.
I like Natalya Pavlovna because she has a modern outlook on life, she understands technology, conducts interactive lessons, she has a special approach to each student, a warm attitude, an individual approach, if I haven’t mastered a topic, after lessons I can approach her, and Natalya Pavlovna will definitely explain everything in detail. Our class knows the Russian language and literature very well, because our class teacher explains in such a way that even the weakest student will want to understand the topic. It is a pleasure to study with Natalia Pavlovna!
And besides studying, Natalya Pavlovna is responsible for the atmosphere in the class, trying to make sure that we are friendly, that we protect, love, and do not offend each other, and organizes events for students and parents. Recently, my class and I went to the hippodrome, where we rode horses, dined on delicious borscht with donuts, and talked with the guys. But in addition to the positive side of our class, there is also a negative side. Sometimes teachers complain about us when we don’t prepare for class, when we are late or don’t come to class at all. Then Natalya Pavlovna conducts educational lessons for the whole class or individually; sometimes, when the situation gets worse, the teacher calls the parents and talks with them. The class teacher has many responsibilities on his shoulders, in addition to the need to teach material according to the school curriculum, and also maintain the microclimate in the classroom.
Only a responsible person who loves children and is ready to teach and give knowledge can become a teacher. I am very glad that our class teacher is Natalya Pavlovna. I am sure that with her we will easily pass all the exams and enter the university.

It's hard for me to decide who my favorite teacher is. I noticed that I like those teachers who give me good grades and praise me. As soon as some kind of remark, especially an unfair one, I feel so offended. And I see that I don’t like that teacher at all. Even character traits, appearance... Everything changes! I mean, for me.
And how can I write here in an essay who I like and who I don’t? What if he reads it? I can't admit it like that. I’d rather say that my favorite teacher is my teacher at the music school. In principle, this is true. He has no competition. Despite all his eternal comments, I like him. More precisely, it is she – Tatyana Ivanovna.
When I wanted to learn to play the piano, they didn’t want to take me - I was still young. The hands have not yet had time to develop. Nobody wanted to teach me! And only Tatyana Ivanovna believed in me. My parents are very grateful to her. And me too. Although sometimes I think that all this is in vain - I could have spent another year playing with dolls instead of playing the keyboard. But my parents say that in a year I wouldn’t want to. We had to seize the moment.
Tatyana Ivanovna is fair, but strict. You always have to do your homework... He may swear, but it’s always justified. Never insults. He doesn’t hit people on the wrist, although everyone thinks that a music teacher should.
She's beautiful. She always has beautiful makeup... And she jokes that if she washes off her blush and eye shadow, no one will recognize her. She is almost the same age as my mother. She has a husband, a son and a dog. I'm glad to see them in the park on weekends. I always congratulate her on holidays. Not everyone likes her, but I don't care.
She gives interesting exercises. Sometimes we even take modern melodies. Besides the program - and it’s so fun, great! I can pick out almost any fashionable melody.
And she herself plays so beautifully. At the first lesson she played it for me, so I listened to it. She asked if I wanted to learn this way. Of course I wanted to. But she warned me that I would have to work. So we are working, but this is also cool.

Let's first figure out who a teacher is. A teacher is a person who completely devotes himself to children. This is a person who is trying to teach them not only to read and write, but also to distinguish good from bad. A teacher is not just a profession, it is a calling. The teacher lives the same life as the students, he also goes to school every day and carries notebooks. A teacher is a person who finds an approach to any student, regardless of whether he is an excellent student or a poor student.
I was lucky to meet such a teacher. He was not only my favorite teacher, but also our entire class. This is our history teacher - Evgeniy Grigorievich.
When we had his lesson, we all looked forward to him starting to explain a new topic to us. When he began to tell us a new topic, he created such an atmosphere that it seemed to us all that we were in the period in question. This was not just a teacher, he was a Teacher with a capital T. He tried to make sure everyone understood what he was talking about. We were not just students for him, we were his children.
When he entered the office, he addressed them as if they were children. And we perceived him as a father. With all our childhood troubles and problems, we constantly went to him for help and advice. And he never refused his attention to anyone. Such teachers are very caustic. People say that there is no student who knows a subject well. And there is a teacher who cannot convey his subject to the student. But this is not about Evgeniy Grigorievich, even those students who studied poorly knew his subject at four and five levels.
He and I often visited museums, went to theaters, and went on hikes. He tried to devote all his free time to us – his children. He tries to give each of us as much attention as you need. If someone does something mischievous, he never cursed. But he could explain in a calm tone that you were ready to fall into the ground out of shame. After talking with him, no one does such things anymore.
When my child goes to school, I would really like my child to have just such a teacher. Who will be his teacher, friend, and brother. So that my child feels at home at school thanks to such teachers.
When I return to my hometown, I will definitely come to my home school, to that history room to my favorite teacher and tell him: “Hello, will you accept your child?” He will smile back at me, hug me and say: “Of course, I missed you so much!”
In physical education
For many people, memories of school are associated with specific activities and events. Everyone misses that there was one important person involved. Often teachers are forgotten, but not mine in physical education. This is exactly what a mentor should be in terms of motivation to take any action. A cheerful man with a beard, constantly encouraging with funny jokes.
The most favorite sport was basketball. All organizational aspects went by the wayside. There were even enough balls for two classes. When the competition began, shouting often occurred. He, as a coach on both sides, worried about every action. There was also room for some very dark humor. Constructive criticism was always accompanied by loud jokes. Of course, we laughed at first, and then we did everything.
In fact, he sometimes even did freelance psychologist work. He asked each newcomer about all his advantages/disadvantages. Helped with mobility problems. This was especially true for overweight children. It is difficult for them to feel normal in such an environment. And since his remarks were accompanied by numerous jokes, they either had to laugh or try twice as hard. It is difficult to overestimate such a contribution to their future.
In addition to basketball, he organized football, volleyball, and hockey competitions. Soviet schools had a huge amount of sports equipment. Even at the end of the 80s, this was cool, because it made it possible to fulfill the dream of many boys. I personally only liked basketball. But I also played football with a happy face. On hot May days, the boys and I ran on the ground. Back then no one knew any tricks, but the team game was 100% successful.
Almost everyone loved him for this. Even when Uncle Kolya had a fever, we went to visit him. At first, such actions were perceived negatively by his wife. But soon, when their child was born, many helped her cope with the existing difficulties. Going for medicine was even a joy. Plus, it was always possible to persuade the older guys. They asked him for the keys to the storeroom. Having taken a couple of swords there, we arranged competitions for ourselves. No one tore them, did not steal, did not spoil them. Relationships based on trust allowed you to get much more. Such teachers are remembered years later exclusively from a positive point of view. Now I have moved to another city, but I still remember school there.

My favourite teacher
Teachers are different: some are strict, some are unusual, some are very kind, and the most important to me are loving people. My favorite teacher, Lyubov Dmitrievna, belongs to the last category.
She is a math teacher. Lyubov Dmitrievna explained the subject well and interestingly, but that’s not why I love her. I was completely captivated by her warm eyes, gentleness and kind attitude towards me. Even when I misbehaved, she was never angry with me. I felt loved. Perhaps Lyubov Dmitrievna was too kind to me, because sometimes I acted unfairly towards a classmate, and she did not shame me, but this did not make me a bad, cruel person. Her main secret is love. It seems to me that when you are loved, you feel good, worthy, you receive the main cures for all ailments: acceptance and tenderness. Even praise does not give you as much pleasure as a sincere affectionate glance in your direction.
When I studied at the school where Lyubov Dmitrievna worked, I maximized my creative potential: I drew newspapers, composed and sang songs, and played in plays. It seems to me that I managed to become so liberated, partly thanks to Lyubov Dmitrievna, because it is very difficult to develop without support and faith in you.
There have been many teachers in my life: some of them were strict, and I remembered their subject well and was afraid of them, some were neutral and forgotten, but those who treated me very kindly stuck in my memory. Apparently, each of us needs love most of all in this life. Janusz Korczak, a famous teacher, even believed that teachers do not have the right not to love children.
Praise and acceptance gave me success and gave me positive emotions. But, as I already said, success from educational achievements, although it increases your self-esteem, does not provide such a fundamental basis in the matter of self-awareness: it does not make you feel worthy of living on this earth. Acceptance and love give this feeling.
I will never forget Lyubov Dmitrievna, I will never forget her neat dark red suit, her unusual gait like that of a kind mother bear, the roundness of her features, her radiant look and kindness. I'm ashamed that I don't visit her. For some reason, now I don’t even know if I would like to, it’s probably worth a try... Lyubov Dmitrievna was special, because even parents sometimes fail to accept their children the way talented teachers do.
