I agree with Rubinstein’s opinion, because abilities do not arise on their own, they must be purposefully developed, and this is possible only in the process of human activity itself.
Now let's move on to the theoretical arguments.
Abilities refer to the specific characteristics of a person that allow him to successfully participate in activities. Abilities develop from preconditions, which are only biological predispositions to do something. But the point is not that if a person has the prerequisites, then he will develop into the corresponding abilities. Therefore, a person should try to work on himself, listen to teachers, parents and other relatives. There are general and special abilities.
