- Friendship and love
Friendship is a relationship built on selfless motives and mutual love, based on common hobbies and views on life. Friendship is what helps us survive in difficult living conditions. From time to time, every person needs help and support. A person just needs to be listened to and understood. It is through mutual friendship that this need is satisfied. It is noteworthy that seemingly completely different people can be friends. This means that there is something that unites them and encourages them to move forward together.
Life without friends is gray and empty. Man is not created to be alone. Friends are those people who make everything more beautiful. Any task, even the simplest one, is more fun with friends. You can just relax with them: go to the sea or the forest, or you can do everyday things: do homework together, and then go to the cinema.
It is important to remember that people are different. Some are open, while others will not tell any stories about themselves. They are more closed and reserve them for a close circle. However, the second category values close friends more and is always ready to help. The first one is more sociable, but you can’t always rely on them.
Love is what every person needs. Everyone has a need to love and be loved. Everyone needs love. Everyone is born into a family and, when they grow up, builds their own. Happy relationships can only be built on love. The first love appears in high school, but these are just romantic feelings that do not last long.
True love goes through all the sorrows and adversity together. A loved one loves you as you are, he will not betray you, he will not look around. It is only through love that people are happy.
Only in love are happy children born, they grow up and are happy that they have loving parents. Love helps you survive various difficulties. A person really needs someone to be nearby and support him when he feels bad. That's what family and friends are for.
When everything is good, there is money and entertainment, there are a lot of people and so-called friends nearby. However, after a while, it becomes clear who is a friend and who is just an acquaintance who came to warm up by your fireplace.
True friendship and love can endure a lot. Unfortunately, there is so little of it left in the real world. Nowadays, almost all people are concerned about making money and are ready to do anything to get more. Morality and morality are in a state of decline. Fortunately, even despite this, there are still good people in the world.
How is friendship different from love?
Everyone is trying to compare these two feelings inherent in any person. But this sounds paradoxical. Here's how they are most often described:
- Love
is a connection between people, a man and a woman in this case, which is characterized by strong affection, the desire to make a partner happy, to help him. It is based on trust, understanding, implying selflessness; - Friendship
is a connection between people based on trust, honesty, and selflessness. It implies the presence of a reliable person nearby.
Agree that when compared it is clear: these concepts are intertwined with one another, they are inextricably linked. For example, how can you consider a person loved and not help him when necessary, or vice versa, how can a true friend not wish you happiness unselfishly, without demanding anything in return.
There are only some boundaries, love involves intimacy, friendship does not
. And you can be friends with several people at once.
These definitions are so closely related that people sometimes have difficulty distinguishing between them. They are confused, they can’t figure out what they feel for a particular person, they can’t understand what kind of closeness this is.
Confusion between love and friendship
Many of us consider these concepts to be the same, although in reality this is not the case at all. What are the differences anyway?
Friendship is a cooperation in which both people receive some kind of mutual benefit from each other, but no one owes anyone anything, because such relationships are based on selflessness. The saying “Trust but verify” does not apply here. We do not need to prove anything to anyone or demand loyalty and devotion from others. We just help each other when needed.
Basics of Friendship
Fundamental to friendly relations are trust and mutual understanding. People are on the same wavelength. You've probably noticed that friends understand each other perfectly and can assess the emotional state of a loved one based on the timbre of his voice. Usually, what is absolutely understandable to friends may be strange to others. This all suggests that two people have formed their own special, personal relationship.
Friendship, like love, has some rules and norms on which it is built and continues to exist. What is important here are: trust, devotion, openness, honesty, willingness to help out in difficult times. These fundamental factors are simply necessary for the continuation of friendship and its development.
As you may have noticed, love and friendship are closely related. These feelings cannot exist separately; there are no friends who do not love or are not unsympathetic to each other, to one degree or another. There are no strong marriages in which the husband and wife are not good friends.
