Troekurov loved to drink, have fun and have a party. He was a selfish man, always thinking about his own benefit. He even forcibly married his daughter Masha to a rich man.
Kirila Petrovich is ready to neglect old friendship. He uses his power and money to deprive Andrei Gavrilovich of his rightful village. Troekurov is the embodiment of all landowners who valued money more than anything else.
Prince Vereisky is a wealthy landowner who leads an idle lifestyle and is always in search of entertainment. The prince is about 50 years old, but he looks a little older.
Vereisky is pleasant in appearance, but his health is not very good. He is frail and sickly. But Vereisky’s manners are excellent.
