In addition, the pyramids could not be destroyed, which happened to many objects considered wonders of the world. Studies of the surviving unopened pyramids have shown that a whole world was created in them, which is still not understood by modern scientists. Labyrinths, several chambers, and other devices for moving entrances and exits - all this suggests that these objects can truly be considered wonders of the world. Thousands of tourists still visit these cultural sites today, admiring the work of ancient architects.

The concept of a miracle can also be explained in a figurative sense. This is such an extraordinary event in life that someone has long desired, hoped, and achieved. However, after several years of unsuccessful efforts, a person realized that what you so passionately desire will never happen. He gradually comes to terms with the idea that this will not happen. Suddenly, what he once wanted comes true. Usually such a miracle happens when a family is expecting children. People can live together for several years, but they do not have a child. They are examined by doctors, go to various medical institutions and resorts. They turn to alternative medicine, but all in vain. Then the husband and wife decide to take the child from the orphanage. This step is very serious, because for orphans finding a home is also a kind of miracle. Finally, the adopted son or daughter ends up in the family. And then the same miracle that was mentioned earlier occurs. A mother may have her own baby. This doesn't always happen, but quite often. This event can also be called a miracle for a new happy family.

Thus, a miracle can happen in the life of every person; you need to believe in it, despite your age.

Miracles happen in almost all fairy tales, but how could it be otherwise? That’s why children adore fairy-tale adventures and believe in them: magic wands solve a lot of things! Viktor Fedorovich Smirnov is a Russian writer, author of books for children and adults, in his work he reflects on the problem of belief in miracles.

In the first person, the author writes about his family during the war, about how he and his mother believed that his father was alive and would definitely return, despite the coming funeral. The returning uncle Sanya, who was also considered dead, allowed them to believe in the miracle even more.

(2) So our mother assured herself and my brother and me that, although the funeral had arrived, our father was not killed, but was lying somewhere in a hospital or had gone missing. (3) And when Uncle Sanya Kudryavtsev, who was considered a heroic death, returned from the front to the neighboring village of Grigoryevka from the front, crippled, without a leg, who was considered a hero (as stated in the funeral service received for him), my mother and other widow soldiers believed in the miracle even more strongly. (4) They believed it, but for some reason they themselves began to look for a fortune teller in the surrounding villages so that she would confirm their faith.

(5) And then a rumor spread that blessed Efimko lived in the village of Shablovo, twenty kilometers from our village. (6) So, this Efimko knew how to tell fortunes, and most importantly, he told good news. (12) Grandmother approved of mother’s intention, but grandfather dissuaded mother: he did not believe in any fortune-telling. (13) But mother remained unconvinced, especially since several other soldier’s widows decided to go with her to Blessed Efimka.

(14) Mom returned two days later. (15) Cheerful. (16) Efimko did not refuse her and did not say: “Go with God, everything will work out,” which was what she feared most. (17) He listened to her sympathetically, gently asked her about her family, about her children, and told her to wait patiently for the end of the war. (18) Finally, he blessed, but did not promise anything, but only gave my mother two clay whistles he had made himself - for Genka and me. (19) The unobtrusive spiritual attention of the blessed old man, although, as my mother said, she did not notice anything that would speak of his bliss, calmed her, inspired her and instilled hope.

(20) Genka and I liked Efimka’s brightly colored bird whistles so much that we never parted with them day or night. (21) During the day we whistled in them continuously, and in the evening we fell asleep with them. (22) Then these whistles disappeared somewhere - probably they broke or got lost. (23) They were replaced by other homemade toys. (24) I completely forgot about the whistles.

(25) And only many years later, after reading an article in the newspaper about the artist Efim Chestnyakov, a student of Repin, I learned that the whistles given to my brother and me were molded and painted not just by Efimka, but by a unique, original artist. (26) During my childhood, he lived in Shablovo, near Kologriv, before the war he worked as a teacher in a rural school, painted pictures, and sculpted toys from clay. (27) He was responsive, gentle, ready, as they say, to give his last shirt to another, and also a good psychologist: he knew how to look into a person’s soul and calm him down. (28) It was the unusual behavior and apparent simplicity that the locals called him Efimka the Blessed. (29) His drawings and paintings lay around in village attics for a long time; someone even used them to light the stove.

(30) And then the hour came when, thanks to caring museum seekers, they learned about the artist Efim Chestnyakov not only in Russia, but also abroad. (31) I saw his paintings and drawings at exhibitions. (32) They are beautiful, radiating with warmth and kindness. (ZZ) There are a lot of children on them. In my understanding, a miracle is a wonderful event that makes you believe in something good that still remains in the world. Many people nowadays do not believe in miracles and believe that they only happen in fairy tales.
