Green wrote a simply excellent story called “Scarlet Sails.” In it, he talks about how any person should believe in miracles, and they will definitely come true.

A little girl named Assol played with the guys and had no idea what awaited her in the future. But one boy told her that very soon she would grow up and a large ship would sail to her and that’s how she would meet her love. This ship will have scarlet sails. And immediately after that, the girl began to come to the pier every day and wait for this ship. The other guys laughed at her and didn't believe a word she said. But the girl did not pay any attention to them and continued to believe in miracles.

And then one day a large ship actually sailed to the pier and it had sails of exactly the color that Egle spoke about. This ship was led by a guy named Gray. He had rich parents who tried to give their son everything at once. Whatever he wished for, everything was done immediately and no matter how much money it cost. He had his own personal library, where he loved to be more than anything else in the world. Here he read about various adventures and about big ships. And then the guy had a dream to buy himself the same big ship and go on it, travel around the world.

His dream came true and one day he sailed to the shore and saw a very beautiful girl. It turned out to be Assol. He fell in love with her and took her with him. And after that they were never separated again.

This work makes every person believe in miracles, because they have the ability to come true. So the most important thing is to wait and believe in a miracle. In addition, every person can change their destiny, but to do this you need to believe not only in yourself, but also in your strength. The girl was very lucky that she met Egle, who told her about her future and the girl began to believe and everything came true.

Option 2

Alexander Green's story “Scarlet Sails” helped many readers believe in the power of dreams and achieve their fulfillment. Yes, yes, that’s right: we fulfill most of our desires ourselves, or our loved ones do it for us.

Living with a dream, as the young dreamy Assol lived, is very cool, even despite the fact that everyone in the area is against you. A dream warms the soul, gives a person strength, helps to rise even when it seems that there is no salvation. The appearance of a dream in every person’s life is already a miracle. How many people in the world do not know how to dream, which is why their lives are stingy in events and joys. It seems to me that daydreaming obeys the laws of mathematics: the more and brighter you dream, the more joyful and happy your life becomes. Confirmation of the correctness of my statement can be found in Green's story. Two people - Assol and Gray - longed for a miracle far from each other and eventually found their happiness. They both had a special talent: they were unlike others, they knew how to live in their own world, without regard for others, and enjoyed every day. They say that charges of the same name repel, but this is in physics, but in life it happens differently: similar people do not pass by each other, but use these common properties as fruitfully as possible, for the benefit of the common good and find the happiness of making friends, loving, being faithful to their loved ones, despite adversity and even death.

Loving people have the unique power to fulfill the desires of their partner, and there is no need to talk about their desires out loud - they are guessed by the expression of the eyes, read on the face, and peeped into in dreams. But Gray and Assol have not yet reached this stage: the captain learns about the dream of his beloved girl from strangers. Looking for any reason to please a loved one - this is the power of love, bringing the same joy to the giver.

Living your dream surrounded by loving people is great! In youth, these dreams are especially light-winged, because the whole life lies ahead. Choosing the right path to your cherished dream is a very difficult step in the life of every graduate. His happiness depends on this choice. That is why the holiday of farewell to school in Russia is called “Scarlet Sails”. There is no need to be afraid of anything in this life, the main thing is to believe in your dream, and then it will certainly come true!

Essay 3

Alexander Stepanovich Green wrote a wonderful work called “Scarlet Sails”. The main idea of the story is that every person needs to believe in a miracle and have a dream, then everything will definitely come true. The work is light and pleasant to read.

The main heroine of the story “Scarlet Sails” is Assol. This is a very young girl, one might say a child. She loved to frolic with the guys. Assol does not think about the future and does not even imagine what awaits her there. One boy told a young girl that soon, when she gets older, a huge ship will sail to the shore. And he will turn out to be a handsome guy, and mutual feelings will flare up between him and Assol. It will be true love. The ship should have scarlet sails. After listening to this prophecy, the girl immediately believed in it. Now she began to come to the pier every day. Assol was looking forward to the arrival described by the ship boy. Because of this, the guys started laughing at her. They considered this story to be fiction. But Assol did not deviate from her goal and did not pay attention to the boys. She sincerely believed in the prophecy. The girl wanted a miracle to happen in her life.

After some time, a huge ship actually arrived at the pier. It had beautiful scarlet sails. This ship fully corresponded to Egle's description. The captain of the sea vessel was a young guy. His name was Gray. He was from a rich family. His parents bought him everything he wanted. The guy was not denied anything. All his wishes instantly came true. His parents loved him very much and therefore spoiled Gray. The guy had a personal library and loved to read. She was huge. He visited there often. He read a lot of books about travel and adventure. He liked huge ships. Gray wanted a healthy ship for himself. He wanted to travel the seas on it and see the whole world with his own eyes. Thanks to his parents, his dream came true. He became the owner of a huge beautiful ship.

One day he landed on the shore and met a beautiful girl there. It was Assol. They fell in love with each other at first sight. Gray did not want to part with her anymore and took her with him. Since then they began to live together happily ever after.

Reading the work “Scarlet Sails”, we begin to believe in miracles. Every person should have his own secret dream and believe that it will definitely come true.

Essay on the work Scarlet Sails

Alexander Green wrote this work for his wife. I came up with a wonderful fairy tale for her, which many girls, young women, and women believe in. This is my favorite fairy tale too. Greene put the main idea of the fairy tale into the mouth of the main character, Captain Gray: “Miracles must be done with your own hands. If you can give your loved one a miracle, give it.”

This tale is about how callous and evil some people can be, and how kind and sympathetic others can be. When Assol's father was at sea, the owner of the tavern did not help her mother and did not lend her money. And she died. But a poor neighbor took in the little one.

The girl grew up without a mother, with a father. But, despite this, she did not become embittered with people, she loved all living things around her. And her father, pine trees, and the sea, and the sun, and the old coal miner, who affectionately called her “Fly.”

The traveling storyteller-magician saw a beautiful girl in this little girl. He did a miracle for her - he gave her a beautiful fairy tale about a ship with scarlet sails, and a prince-captain who would take her from here far, far away.

The girl believed in the fulfillment of this fairy tale. She told about this to the residents of the fishing village of Kaperna. Some, like the old coal miner, did not convince the girl that this was just a fairy tale. And others, like the innkeeper, openly considered her a fool. But having become a beautiful girl, Assol feels when this miracle is about to happen to her.

Prince Arthur has his own destiny. The boy dreams of the sea, but his parents don’t even want to hear about it. They forbid him to communicate with the old sailor, who, in their opinion, has a bad influence on him. As a result, Arthur leaves home and gets a job as a cabin boy on a ship. His zeal and diligence were noticed by the old captain. Thanks to him, Arthur receives a sailing ship under his command. His dream is coming true.

To help his friends, Arthur Gray brings his ship to Caperna. They arrive at the roadstead, and he and the sailor go fishing. On the shore, in a pine grove, Arthur finds a beautiful sleeping girl. He liked her so much that he put a ring on her finger.

He wants to find out who she is and goes to the inn. The innkeeper begins to say nasty things about both Assol and her father. But a tipsy old coal miner cuts him off. He says that the girl is kind, she just believes in miracles and fairy tales. And then Captain Gray decides to give Assol a fairy tale about scarlet sails. He buys scarlet fabric and covers all the sails on his ship, invites musicians.

At dawn, in the rays of the rising sun, a ship with scarlet sails appeared on the horizon. He walked towards the fishing village. All the residents ran ashore; they had all heard from Assol a fairy tale about scarlet sails. They didn't believe her and openly laughed at her. A boat was lowered from the ship and it rushed to the shore. Captain Gray cupped his hands and began calling Assol.

She recognized him and went to meet him. A miracle happened, her fairy tale came true. Arthur said that he was looking for her because she was waiting for him. He said that miracles should be done with your own hands, created and created fairy tales for your loved ones. Gray asked Assol if she agreed to go with him to a new life. She agreed and only asked him to take her father Langren with them.

A beautiful and kind fairy tale. It was filmed. This is my favorite fairy tale. I'm also waiting for my scarlet sails.

Essay on the theme of scarlet sails

The magical power of dreams (based on the extravaganza story by A. Green “Scarlet Sails”). Composition. All children believe in fairy tales and miracles, but few manage to maintain this belief as they enter adulthood. Immersed in everyday life and everyday problems, they become boring, gloomy, predictable ordinary people. The main character of A. Green's story “Scarlet Sails” Assol is a happy exception to this rule. Having grown up among down-to-earth, embittered people, she managed not only to withstand their barbs and offensive ridicule, but also not to doubt her fate. From early childhood, Assol loved to listen to fascinating stories about sea adventures that her father, an experienced sailor, told her. Going to a city not far from Kaperna to “carry goods” to the store, she often plunged into a fantasy world, talking with the inhabitants of the ships and houses that Longren made. During one of these walks, the girl met the wandering storyteller Egle, who predicted that a prince from a distant country would sail for her on a ship with scarlet sails, and she would become a princess. From that day on, the expectation of a miracle settled in Assol’s soul - and it was so sincere, childishly innocent, that it found a response in the surrounding space. At this time, far from the fishing village, in a family castle, a romantic and dreamy boy grew up, in love with the sea and ships. Being a purposeful, courageous and strong-willed person, the grown-up Gray decided to leave his father’s house in order to fulfill his dream. While still a cabin boy, he managed to gain the respect and approval of the experienced crew. Quickly accumulating knowledge in the field of navigation and acquiring the necessary skills, the young man eventually became a captain. His heart remained open to miracles, therefore, seeing the sleeping Assol in a forest clearing, and then learning her story and prediction, he realized how dear she was to him, and decided to make the long-awaited fairy tale come true: “... when the soul hides the grain of a fiery plant - a miracle, do It's a miracle for him if you're able to. He will have a new soul and you will have a new one.” So the magical power of a dream made two kind and loving people happy. Essay “Dream and Reality” based on A. Green’s extravaganza story “Scarlet Sails” Assol was a poor girl. Her mother died and she lived with her father. No one in the city liked them, especially their father. Her father used to be a sailor, and when he returned, he began making wooden toys. One day Assol went to the store to give her father’s toys to the seller, and noticed a very beautiful boat with scarlet sails in the basket. Assol lowered him into the water, and suddenly the current caught him and carried him forward. Assol rushed after the boat. The toy led the girl to a man who introduced himself as a wizard. He predicted to her that one day a beautiful ship with scarlet sails, on which a handsome prince would sail, would sail to the shores of Kaperna. A boat will separate from the ship to the sound of beautiful music. And the handsome prince will put her on a ship, and she will leave forever for a beautiful country. Assol was a dreamy girl and believed in this prediction. Since then, the city began to consider her completely crazy. But Assol didn’t care. She lived this dream. She really believed that one day a prince would sail for her under scarlet sails. At the same time, Arthur Gray was born far from Assol. He came into a rich, wealthy family and could have lived a calm, balanced life, but he was not like his parents. Gray was thirsty for adventure and one day he ran away from home and joined a ship as a cabin boy. Arthur tried very hard, practiced, and after a certain period of time he became a captain on his own ship from a cabin boy. One day he went fishing with his sailor. Gray saw a sleeping girl there. He really liked her. He took the most expensive beautiful ring from his finger and put it on her finger. Then he went with the sailor to a nearby tavern. There he learned about Assol and the prediction. He wanted to fulfill it. This wonderful fairy tale, like all others, has a good and happy ending. Gray sailed to Assol under scarlet sails, put her on a ship, and they sailed away forever to a beautiful country. This work can partially be called a fairy tale. Firstly, Green has an area that does not exist on the map, names that do not exist in this world. And there, as in all fairy tales, there is a happy ending. There is another moment of magic in this work: the fact that the wizard’s prediction came true, although when he said this, he did not suspect that this would be exactly the case. He just wanted to please Assol. But, on the other hand, this is not about magic. After all, the main characters themselves ensured that the wizard’s prediction came true. The essence of this fairy tale is that if you really believe and make an effort, everything will come true. Although this work is more about idealism, I believe that in the real world this is impossible. And in general, in this fairy tale everything is very simple, but in life it is not. The triumph of poetic love and sublime dreams in A. Green’s extravaganza “Scarlet Sails”. Composition. Children and adults all over the world know and love A. Green’s wonderful story-extravaganza “Scarlet Sails”. It was published more than a hundred times in Russian alone. Why are people so attracted to such “fiction” and “fables”? “Scarlet Sails” is a story about a sublime dream and poetic love of two people who believe in miracles. At the same time, the author himself calls his work an extravaganza, a fairy tale, which means that the events described in it could never have happened in reality. I don't want to agree with this. Couldn’t a girl with a bright poetic soul live in the world, believing more in goodness and love than in the misunderstanding and dullness surrounding her? Was there never a young man who loved to dream, whose heart belonged to the sea from childhood, and couldn’t he, having become an adult, realize what he had planned a long time ago? And couldn’t they have met: Assol and Gray, who believes in a miracle and seeks this faith, awaiting her destiny and managing to become destiny himself? Maybe they had a different name. Maybe Assol was not the daughter of a sailor, but a lumberjack, and Gray was not the heir of a noble family, but a wandering storyteller, like the collector of songs and legends Egl. All this does not matter when there are people who are capable of selflessly loving, selflessly dreaming and believing with all their hearts in miracles. A bright and joyful feeling remains in the soul when you finish reading “Scarlet Sails”. This feeling brings adults back to childhood, and convinces children that miracles in their future lives depend on themselves. That is why this work will never have indifferent and yawning readers. A tale of love (based on A. Green’s extravaganza story “Scarlet Sails”). Composition. The romantic story “Scarlet Sails” is one of the best works of Alexander Green. The path to creating this story was long. The author repeatedly changed and rewrote the text until he achieved what he wanted. He strove to create an ideal world where wonderful heroes live and where love, dreams, and fairy tales can overcome rudeness and callousness. And he achieved his goal. The writer depicted “extraordinary circumstances in which something decisive had to happen.” “Scarlet Sails” is a fairy tale about poetic love, about an all-conquering, sublime dream. The life of the heroine of the story, young Assol, is quite unhappy: she had no friends, children avoided her, and adults transferred their dislike for her father to her. They laughed at the girl and insulted her. But kind Longren encouraged his daughter: “Eh, Assol,” he said, “do they know how to love? You have to be able to love, but that’s something they can’t do.” And he took the girl in his arms and kissed her deeply. Under the influence of her father, who adored her, Assol created for herself a kind of dream world in which everything was beautiful, all people were kind and loved each other. And one day in the forest, captivated by playing with a toy ship and a story she had invented, the girl accidentally met a stranger who introduced himself as “the most important wizard” and told her an incredible story about what awaited her in the future. “One morning, in the distance of the sea, a scarlet sail will sparkle under the sun. The shining bulk of the scarlet sails of the white ship will move, cutting through the waves, straight towards you... Then you will see the brave, handsome prince... “Hello, Assol! - he will say. “Far, far from here, I saw you in a dream and came to take you forever to my kingdom... And you will leave forever to a brilliant country where the sun rises and where the stars will descend from the sky to congratulate you on your arrival.” And the girl believed the mysterious wizard. And all subsequent years she continued to live with this faith and wait for her prince to come for her. She waited, not paying attention to the laughter, teasing and mockery of people. And at this time, somewhere far away, a boy was growing up, dreaming of becoming a captain and not yet knowing that he was destined to fulfill the lifelong dream of one beautiful girl. Gray also lived in his own wonderful world. He dreamed of the sea, lived this dream, which for him constituted the only possible happiness, combining “danger, risk, the power of nature, the light of a distant country, wonderful uncertainty, flickering love, blooming with rendezvous and separation; a fascinating flurry of meetings, people, events; the immense variety of life...” So they lived for seven long years, each living his own dream, not knowing that they were gradually moving towards each other. And, of course, one day the day came when they met. Gray saw a girl sleeping in the shadow of the branches, and “everything moved, everything smiled in him.” She immediately captivated the young man’s heart, and, succumbing to his feelings, he took the ring off his finger and carefully put it on Assol’s little finger. The girl didn't feel anything. But when she woke up and found a ring on her finger, she no longer doubted that it belonged to her prince. Meanwhile, Gray accidentally learned about the girl's dream, and this pushed him to action. With unprecedented inspiration, he set about implementing his idea - and a few days later, a beautiful ship with scarlet sails was ready to take on board the most important jewel. Gray made Assol's dream come true and achieved his own happiness. He knew that his happiness was this beautiful girl who helped him understand the truth. And this truth lies in “doing so-called miracles with your own hands.” Thanks to the power of love, sincere faith in their dream, the destinies of two people were united into one, which will now forever remain for them “in the scarlet reflection of the sails created by the depth of the heart, which knows what love is.” The world of dreamers and the world of ordinary people in A. Green’s story “Scarlet Sails”. Composition. The ancient Greeks believed that desire already creates and creates on its own. The forces of desire and dreams can turn life in a new direction and change the person himself. Alexander Green, with the power of his own dream, founded a whole world in which brave, frank and sincere men, poetic and beautiful women live, where cities with wonderful names are located by the sea - Liss, Zurbagan. Green knew the power of dreams and the power of love. All his stories about love end with one phrase - “They lived long and died on the same day.” The most important thing is to meet and find each other. In the story-fairy tale “Scarlet Sails” by Alexander Green, a sharp division of people into two worlds is clearly visible. This is the world of the dreamer Assol and the world of the inhabitants around her. Assol lost her mother early, and her father began making a living by making and selling toys. The world of toys in which Assol lived naturally shaped her character. And in life she had to face gossip and evil. It was quite natural that the real world scared her. Running away from him, trying to keep a sense of beauty in her heart, she believed in a beautiful fairy tale about scarlet sails, told to her by a kind man. This kind but unhappy man undoubtedly wished her well, but his fairy tale turned out to be suffering for her. And yet, it was the fairy tale that helped her not to sink into the swamp of philistine life. There, in this swamp, lived people for whom dreams were inaccessible. They were ready to mock any person who lived, thought, and felt differently from the way they lived, thought, and felt. Therefore, they considered Assol, with her beautiful inner world, with her magical dream, to be a village fool. It seems to me that these people were deeply unhappy. They thought and felt limitedly, their very desires were limited, but subconsciously they suffered from the thought that they were missing something. This “something” was not food, shelter, although for many even this was not what they would like, no, it was a person’s spiritual need to at least occasionally see the beautiful, to come into contact with the beautiful. It seems to me that this need in a person cannot be eradicated by anything. And it is not their crime, but their misfortune that they have become so coarse in soul that they have not learned to see beauty in thoughts and feelings. They saw only a dirty world and lived in this reality. Assol lived in another, fictional world, incomprehensible and therefore not accepted by the average person. Dream and reality collided. This contradiction ruined Assol. This is a fact of life, probably experienced by the writer himself. Very often, people who do not understand another person, perhaps even a great and beautiful one, consider him a fool. It's easier for them this way. Assol was lucky in that Gray found her. Also a dreamer by nature, he still did not think about anything unrealizable. His dreams were supported by a rich family. It was easier for him than Assol, incomparably easier, but still he understood her, understood her impossible dream, which she could not give up, understood her when even her own father did not understand his daughter. But her father was a man of great soul, but he too was sucked in and crippled by the maelstrom of philistine life. Little Assol, an outcast child raised by a kind and loving father, lives a solitary life. She is pushed away by her peers and disliked by adults, transferring their dislike for her father onto the girl. One day a strange man meets her in the forest, tells her a fairy tale about a ship with scarlet sails, and from that moment fate begins its work. Assol believed in the fairy tale and made it part of her soul. The girl was ready for a miracle - and a miracle found her. Green shows how, through intricate paths, two people, created for each other, move towards a meeting. Gray lives in a completely different world. Wealth, luxury, power are given to him by birthright. And in the soul there lives a dream not about jewelry and feasts, but about the sea and sails. In defiance of his family, he becomes a sailor, sails around the world, and one day an accident brings him to the tavern of the village where Assol lives. Like a crude joke, they tell Gray the story of a madwoman who is waiting for the prince on a ship with scarlet sails. It was as if two strings sounded together... Soon the morning will come when the ship approaches the shore, and Assol shouts: “I’m here!” Here I am!" - and starts running straight through the water. A dream, if you believe in it, that is, give your life to it, no matter what “reasonable” people say, becomes a powerful creative force. Green's work is excellent for its optimism, unshakable faith in the dream, the victory of the dream over the bourgeois, philistine environment. Excellent because it gives hope for life in a society of people who are able to hear and understand each other. Assol, accustomed to mockery and ridicule of herself, nevertheless flew out of that ugly world and sailed to the ship, proving to everyone that any dream can come true if you strongly believe in it, do not change it, do not doubt it. And perhaps this made someone much better, more noble, more chaste in soul, who in this story was ranked among the social “swamp” and who will crawl out of it for the new story about castles in the air.

Essay on the story Scarlet Sails by Green, grade 6

Green has one very interesting and instructive story called “Scarlet Sails”. The work is easy and enjoyable to read, and also teaches a lot.

The main character is a girl named Assol. She was raised by one father, and her mother died very early and the girl never saw her. One day she was told that very soon a prince would sail to her on a ship, and the sails of this ship would be scarlet. And from then on, the girl began to wait for this particular ship, only it did not arrive for a very long time. In addition, she told her friends about this, but they did not want to believe her and constantly laughed and mocked her.

This prince was supposed to be a guy named Gray. His parents were rich people and therefore can buy anything for their only child. More than anything, he liked to be in the library, where he read and took home many different books about adventures. And one day he saw a big ship, and he wanted to go on a big journey on it. Now not a single day goes by without him coming to the sea and admiring it. And his most important and cherished dream was the sea. And in order to achieve his dream, he decided to first become a simple cabin boy. Of course, it was not so easy to get used to the constant pumping. And then one day he had a dream in which he saw a beautiful girl whom he had never seen anywhere before, but now he had a new dream. He decided that he would look for a girlfriend, traveling to different cities and countries.

And since Assol came to the sea every day and once stayed here overnight, Gray saw her directly sleeping on the shore. And I immediately fell in love. Now he needed to find her and for this he began to talk with the residents of the city to find out her name and where she lives. It turns out her name is Assol.

The next day he sailed again, and the same girl was already waiting for him. And as soon as he saw her, he immediately fell in love with her. And he invited her with him, and she agreed.

None of this would have happened if she didn't believe in fairy tales. And then she would never meet her happiness. Based on all this, we can conclude that dreams can really come true, but for this you first need to believe very strongly in it.

Scarlet Sails essay, version 2

So I turned the last page of Green’s story Scarlet Sails, and now I will share my thoughts in my essay. I read the book Scarlet Sails in one sitting, because it is simply impossible to tear myself away from this beautiful story. Green's work is amazingly fabulous, magical, poetic. It gives a romantic mood and makes you believe that dreams come true. This is an instructive story that will show the reader the power of love, teach goodness, faith, and become an incentive to give joy to others, making their little dreams come true. We will talk about this in more detail in the essay on the work Scarlet Sails. The thoughts and reasoning below can be used in the essay “Scarlet Sails” for 6th grade students.

Scarlet Sails essay

Alexander Green painted Scarlet Sails from 1916 to 1922. The result is a wonderful fairy tale, which shows how important it is to have a dream, to strive for it, and to believe in its fulfillment. Also, history shows how evil some people can be, and how kind and sympathetic others can be.

Scarlet Sails tells the story of the girl Assol, who had to confront the evil people around her. About a girl to whom the fairy tale collector Egle gave a dream. He predicted her lover on a ship with scarlet sails, and since then Assol lived and believed that her happiness was just around the corner. And she waited. Fate gave her a meeting with Gray, who made her dream come true, thereby becoming a stranger on a ship with scarlet sails. Gray acts as a noble man who makes the girl's dreams come true.
