Schwartz E.L. - a famous Soviet writer who gave us a large number of works and plays. One of the most interesting works that remains relevant to this day is The Tale of Lost Time.

The fairy tale tells about a boy Petya Zubov and three other guys who loved to do all sorts of nonsense and waste time. Evil wizards took advantage of this, collected lost time, made magic cakes from it, and with their help regained their youth. But Petya and three other guys became old men. At first Petya was amused by this, it seemed to him that it was just a dream, but over time it turns out that everything is happening for real. As a result, Petya can neither set a worthy example for the children at school, nor help the woman at the market who sells apples, but whatever: Petya was not recognized by his own mother. Only the dog Druzhok recognized his owner.

Saddened and ashamed, Petya goes into the forest, and there he finds the dwelling of the wizards. Fortunately, the wizards themselves are busy causing mischief among other guys, so Petya safely enters their home. There he finds a magic cuckoo, which Petya gave water to drink - something evil wizards never did in their lives - and she reveals to him a secret: you just need to turn the clock hands back - and Petya will become a boy. However, Petya, having learned that three more guys became victims of this witchcraft, decides to find them first.

With the help of Druzhka, Petya first finds two girls, and then the last boy, with whom he hurries into the forest. Already in the house itself, evil wizards overtake them, but Petya manages to turn the hands of the clock. As a result, the guys take on their previous appearance, and the wizards disappear forever.

The main idea. This fairy tale has many wonderful messages. Here is the need to learn - just remember how Petya, in the form of a grandfather, was contemptuously told: “He grew a beard, but didn’t develop any intelligence.” The film also teaches kindness and friendship: the faithful dog did not forget the friendship of his master, and the cuckoo, in response to kindness, revealed an important secret. In addition, Petya reveals his leadership qualities when he does not allow girls to persuade him to go watch a film with an age rating.

Teaches nobility : Petya did not turn the hands of the clock himself, because in this case it would be impossible to disenchant the rest of the guys. And, of course, the most important message: you can’t just waste your time, which you won’t be able to make up for later. This fairy tale has an excellent film adaptation that you can watch and then discuss with your child.

The boy was very surprised, because only yesterday he was an active young man, and today, like an old man, everything hurt and he coughed. Even his mother didn’t recognize Petya, so he was very upset.

Later he learns that some wizards stole his childhood. They themselves need his youth.

In addition to the hero Petya, there are three more guys who also suffered the same fate. It turns out that the wizards specifically punished those children who wasted their time. They turned children into old men, and they themselves took possession of their youth in order to continue committing their evil deeds.

Petya found the dwelling of these very evil sorcerers in the forest and penetrated them. In this dwelling he found a cuckoo that was magical; he gave it something to drink, something that wizards had never done before. Later, the cuckoo tells Petya a secret about how to return the boy to childhood again. The whole secret is that you need to turn the hands on the clock back. The boy finds them, defeats them and becomes a child again. It is from this moment that the hero is more careful about his time. He found these girls and a boy and went with them into the forest, where evil sorcerers overtake them. But nevertheless, the boy still manages to turn the hands on the clock.

This fairy tale wants to convey to readers that it is important to value your time, since it is simply impossible to get it back. The work also teaches kindness, because even the cuckoo responded to the boy with a good deed in return for his good deed. The work also teaches friendship, because the faithful and devoted dog still recognized his little master in the old man, unlike others.

Petya Zubov was one of the weakest students in his class, who promised to catch up with the guys in all subjects, but never kept his promise. One day Petya, as usual, was late for school. He handed his coat to the cloakroom attendant, but she mistook the third grader for an old man. Looking at himself in the mirror, Petya saw gray hair and a beard.

Petya was very scared and rushed home, but even his own mother did not recognize him as her son. Then the aged boy left wherever his eyes looked. So he ended up in the forest, where he came across an empty house. Tired Petya lay down on the hay in the corner and fell asleep. He woke up from voices: two boys and two girls were sitting at the table, talking in old voices and calling each other by their first names and patronymics.

Petya learned that these were evil wizards who caught lazy children wasting time. They managed to catch not only Petya Zubov, but also three more children who had become old people. One of the wizards, Sergei Vladimirovich, let it slip that the enchanted children could become children again if they turned the clock hands 77 times back at midnight.

When the wizards left, Petya went in search of other enchanted children. However, on his way he met only real old people: painters, teachers and even the fire chief. When Petya saw a crying old woman with a bun and the newspaper “Pionerskaya Pravda,” he realized that in front of him was a bewitched schoolgirl. In 1964, based on the puppet theater play, Soviet director Alexander Ptushko made a wonderful film, which was very popular among schoolchildren of the last century. The viewer (and reader) focuses on an ordinary school student, a slacker Petya Zubov, who was very irresponsible with his time, wasting precious minutes on nonsense, although they could have been used for useful and good deeds. There are many people like Petya in the city, and the evil old wizards decided to take advantage of this. In order to become young again, they needed to bake a cake from the flour of lost time. The heroes of the fairy tale lost so much time that the cake turned the villains not into young people, but into schoolchildren. The magic for Petya and his fellow sufferers had the opposite effect: the guys turned into grandparents. The time wasted in vain made them old, but did not increase their knowledge!

Throughout the entire story, the old people from the third grade are trying to get to the treasured clock in order to turn the hands of the clock back, become children again and correct the mistakes they have made. Their human qualities help them in this: kindness, the ability to come to the aid of a friend. Meanwhile, the young villains do not miss the opportunity to do various dirty tricks, allowing Petya’s peers to learn to appreciate the good that is nearby, to distinguish good deeds from bad.

The ending of the fairy tale is wonderful: victory is on the side of good, and the young old people turn into children again, having received a very important knowledge for them: life time is a priceless gift and it goes away very quickly and imperceptibly - drop by drop or minute. Therefore, the days, weeks and years of life must be treated very carefully, not wasted in vain, but use every free minute to obtain precious knowledge that is so necessary for a person at any stage of life. You need to pay attention to this from a very early age, then your grades at school will be good, and in the future you can become a master of your craft. Of course, people are not perfect and tend to make mistakes - get distracted by extraneous matters, do unnecessary things. And in this case, next to each person there are relatives and close people, friends, classmates, colleagues, whose advice should not be ignored, but should be listened to. A true friend will not give bad advice!

Very often people, both adults and children, waste time. Or they put off important things until later. Even from adults you can hear the phrase: “oh well, I’ll do it later!” or: “I’ll have time!” and there’s nothing to say about children. They don't want to do boring and uninteresting things. After all, there are so many interesting and fun things around. But lessons, homework and other tedious things can wait. It will be in time.

The boy Petya Zubov from the fairy tale by Evgeniy Schwartz reasoned in exactly the same way. The boy was lazy. I studied for twos and threes. I thought that I would still have time and catch up with my peers. So he reasoned, and did not notice how he turned into an old man.

No one recognized Petya, not even his mother. The boy became sad. I went wherever my eyes led me. I entered a dark forest and found myself in some kind of hut. He hid in the hayloft and fell silent.

And in this hut lived evil wizards. It was they who turned Petya into an old man. The wizards had an abacus on the table. They were used to calculate the years taken away from children. Yes! Yes! In children. After all, besides Petya, two more girls and one boy turned into old men.

The fact is that the sorcerers specifically looked for those guys who were wasting their time. By turning them into old men, the wizards became younger and had more opportunities for their evil witchcraft.

However, their plans were disrupted. Petya learned how to become a child again. For this he will have to work hard. To become a boy again, it was necessary to find other transformed ones and return to the forest hut. Moreover, time was limited. Only until midnight.

Petya succeeded. With great difficulty, he managed to find Nadenka, Marusya and Vasya, that was the name of the old children.

The fairy tale teaches you to value time. Don't waste it. Otherwise, you may not noticeably age. In addition, the fairy tale teaches us to spend it usefully. That is, there are times when you should stop and use the time to remember or think. For example, Petya did not do this. He did not waste time and rushed to look for his comrades. And then they got lost. It took them a while to find the way to the magic hut. The boy realized at that moment that it would be better for him to lose a little time and remember the road.

Thus, the tale of lost time is relevant at all times. It makes not only children, but also adults think. After all, many adults do not know how to properly spend and distribute precious hours and minutes. As a result, nothing is accomplished. But life flies by and old age comes unnoticed.

This is the choice of each person. He lives as he wants or as his level of conscience obliges him. But is such a selfish life important for loved ones and other members of society? Obviously not.
